Abstract: A system for conducting a survey to obtain real-time survey evidence. It has a host server (12), a questions database (24) associated with the host server (12), and comprising records representing a survey, each record comprising a question with associated possible answers. A data acquisition device (14) to receive survey questions with associated possible answers and operable by an interviewee to select a response from the possible responses for a question and transmit the response for the question to the host server (12). A responses database (26) associated with the host server to store responses to the questions received by the host server (12) in which the responses are associated with the survey.
