The system utilizes a plurality of independent processing nodes distributed across distinct regions, each containing a processing service, a local database service, and a policy agent. To mitigate network-induced latency and eliminate single points of failure, transaction information is received over a communication channel at multiple independent nodes simultaneously. Each node independently evaluates the transaction against stored policies and transmits a response.
