Abstract: A wheel assembly attached to, or integrally formed with, the underside of an object for allowing the object to roll in one of at least two rolling directions includes a fixture and a wheel. The fixture has a first pair of spaced-apart axle mountings defining between them a first axial direction perpendicular to a first rolling direction, and a second pair of spaced-apart axle mountings defining between them a second axial direction perpendicular to a second rolling direction. The wheel has an axial projection extending from each side. The axle mountings and the axial projections are configured such that the wheel can be located with the axial projections retained by the first pair of axle mountings for allowing the object to roll in the first rolling direction, and alternatively, with the axial projections retained by the second pair of axle mountings for allowing the object to roll in the second rolling direction.

Abstract: A method of growing a single crystal of semiconductor using a CZ growth technique, having a step (0<t<t1) wherein a single crystal of semiconductor is pulled while a source material is supplied continuously to maintain a constant amount of semiconductor melt, and a step (t2<t<t3) wherein the supply of source material is halted, and the single crystal of semiconductor is pulled using residual melt from the first step.

Abstract: A case for a circular saw, including a pivotable compartment for holding at least one blade. When the compartment is closed, at least a portion of the compartment is accommodated by a recess of the base. In this position, access to the interior of the compartment is restricted, such that a blade may not be removed from, or placed in, the compartment. A lock may be used to keep the compartment in this position. When access to the compartment is desired, the compartment may be pivoted, so that at least a portion of the compartment is projecting outwardly, substantially horizontally, from the base. In this open position, access to the compartment is permitted, and at least one blade may be placed in, or removed from, the compartment.

Abstract: A tool box with external pivoting bins for a separate storage of working tools and working accessories such that the working tools and the working accessories may each be independently approached, the tool box comprising (a) a main compartment for storage of the working tools, the main compartment being defined by a front wall, a rear wall, a left wall, a right wall and a bottom collectively defining a storage space, at least one of the walls being formed with an outwardly facing recession; (b) a cover for covering the main compartment, the cover being hingedly connected to one of the walls of the compartment; (c) at least one cover-compartment securing mechanism for alternately securing and releasing the cover; (d) at least two outwardly opening pivoting bins pivotaly mounted within the recession, the bins being for storage of the working accessories; and (e) a bins securing mechanism for alternately securing and releasing the bins.

Abstract: A tool rack assembly selectively mountable either directly to a wall or on a vertical peg-board, includes a rack, integrally formed from molded polymer material, and a plurality of peg-board brackets. The rack is formed with an upper sheet-like element arranged substantially horizontally and having a plurality of apertures for receiving tools, and a lower sheet-like element spaced below the upper sheet-like element, and having a plurality of apertures corresponding to said apertures of said upper sheet-like element. Side portions connect between the upper and lower sheet-like elements and maintain them in vertically spaced relation. The tool rack has a strip extending along its rear edge forming a vertical flange with a number of attachment holes. The peg-board brackets, each of which has at least one curve-ended peg for locking within a hole of the peg-board, are engagable within the attachment holes for attaching the tool rack to the peg-board.

Abstract: A hingeable latch for detachably or hingedly connecting a base and a cover, most particularly as part of a box. The cover includes a rod and a latch plate which is mounted on the rod so that the latch plate is rotatable relative to the rod. The base includes a latch catch which is designed to engage a portion of the catch plate so as to connect the base and cover. The base further features a rod seat which is designed to hingedly accommodate at least a portion of the rod so that when the latch plate and the latch catch are engaged, the rod is rotatable in the rod seat to permit the cover to be hinged relative to the base.

Abstract: A device, such as a combination stool and storage/tool box adapted for use while placed on a floor. The device features a number of rubber stoppers to prevent inadvertent sliding of the device across the floor. To hold the stoppers in place, the device includes openings in the lower portion of its legs. Each of the openings accommodates one of the stoppers and is defined by a number of semi-rigid retaining members which extend inwardly toward the center of the opening. The opening and the retaining members are dimensioned so that when the stem of the stopper is forced through the opening the retaining members exert forces on the stopper tending to retain the stopper in place substantially rigidly connected to the device.

Abstract: A device attachable to a wall for holding a household item, includes a base for attachment to the wall and a holding element for holding the household item. The base has a suction cup for attachment to the wall, and a support block, with at least one mounting recess, attachable to the suction cup. The holding element has a hook engagable with one of the mounting recesses so that the holding element is readily attachable to, and removable from, the base. The holding element preferably includes an additional suction cup for attachment to a surface of the household item.

Abstract: A storage organizer, which includes a housing and drawers which are slidably accommodated within the housing. The drawers feature a locking mechanism connected to said front wall for immobilizing said drawer in said housing. The drawers further feature a downwardly extending protrusion which serves to slidably engage the housing and thereby reduce play between the drawer and the housing. The drawers further feature removable vertical dividers.
