  • Publication number: 20260264067
Abstract: The invention is directed to a Zeolite-Y having a SiO2/Al2O3 ratio of greater than 10 mol/mol, a unit cell size smaller than 24.45 ?, a micropore volume greater than 0.18 ml/g, a mesopore volume greater than 0.35 ml/g, a total surface area greater than 700 m2/g and a selectivity number greater than 0.50. The selectivity number is presented as [(B350+L350)/(L150+B150)]. B350 is the Bronsted acidity of the zeolite-Y as measured by Fourier Transformed Infrared spectroscopy after pyridine desorption at 350° C. L350 is the Lewis acidity of the zeolite-Y as measured by Fourier Transformed Infrared spectroscopy after pyridine desorption at 350° C. B150 is the Bronsted acidity of the zeolite-Y as measured by Fourier Transformed Infrared spectroscopy after pyridine desorption at 150° C. L150 is the Lewis acidity of the zeolite-Y as measured by Fourier Transformed Infrared spectroscopy after pyridine desorption at 150° C. and wherein the B350, L350, B150 and L150 are measured as described in ‘Section A’.

  • Patent number: 12611659
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of dewaxing of hydrocarbon feeds. More in particular, it relates to the use of alkaline-treated mesoporous zeolites and catalysts encompassing the same for the dewaxing of hydrocarbon feeds. It was found that the zeolites and catalysts of the present invention can significantly reduce cracking of the hydrocarbon feed, and accordingly significantly reduce liquid hydrocarbon feed loss during processes such as dewaxing.

  • Publication number: 20250304456
Abstract: The invention is broadly drawn to a process to introduce mesoporosity in faujasite zeolites with Si/Al<5 and unit cell sizes below 24.58 Angstrom by an inventive sequence of acid and base treatments, yielding superior physico-chemical and catalytic properties compared to the materials prepared according to the teachings known in the state of the art. Part of the invention relates to the acid step which is executed in the presence of a salt of which the anion is able to form multi-ligand complexes with aluminum, and of which a specific amount of cations are protonic (ca. 90% to 20% of the total cations with ?3<pK<6). The superior properties may be the combination of an enhanced mesoporosity with a higher Brønsted acidity, a higher microporosity, a higher mesoporosity, a higher crystallinity, and/or combinations hereof.
