Abstract: A carrier-tape base paper making method and the base paper made thereby fall into the technical field of papermaking. According to performance requirements, the base paper is made through pulp conditioning and papermaking, in which different pulping and auxiliary materials for surface, intermediate and bottom layers are added. The method includes such steps as beating, conditioning, papermaking, calendering and reeling. The carrier-tape base paper features high strength, perfect waterproof and bonding performance, limited physical damages to electronic elements and satisfactory resilience.
