The optical scanning device includes a light source for emitting a light beam, a first optical unit for collimating the light beam emitted by the light source in a main scanning direction and focus the light beam in an auxiliary scanning direction, an optical deflector for deflecting the light beam, and an imaging optical system for guiding the light beam to a scanned surface for imaging. When the optical deflector deflects the light beam at a maximum deflection angle, the light beam in the main scanning direction forms a maximum incident angle ?max with a normal line of the scanned surface. A spot tilt rate e/a of a light spot on the scanned surface satisfies e a ? 10 ? % , where a is a size of the light spot in the main scanning direction and e is a spot tilt.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an electrical parameter detection method, a chip, a consumable, and an image forming apparatus. The electrical parameter detection method includes: configuring an installation detecting pin to be at a high level by an image forming control unit; controlling a voltage of an installation detecting terminal to be at a low level by a chip control unit, such that a current loop is formed between the image forming apparatus and the chip; and determining, by the image forming apparatus, whether the image forming apparatus is in a desired contact with the chip according to an electrical parameter of the current loop.

Abstract: A laser scanning unit (LSU) identification method and an image forming device are provided. The image forming device includes a processor and a target LSU, where the target LSU includes a laser diode, a laser diode drive unit, a polygon mirror, and a motor. The method includes providing a signal related to a quantity of reflective surfaces of the polygon mirror to the processor by the target LSU; identifying the quantity of the reflective surfaces of the polygon mirror of the target LSU according to the signal related to the quantity of the reflective surfaces of the polygon mirror provided by the target LSU, and determining a control parameter of the target LSU according to an identified quantity of the reflective surfaces by the processor, thereby controlling the target LSU according to the control parameter; and operating according to the control parameter by the target LSU.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a scanning device, an image-forming apparatus, and a scanning method. In one aspect, the scanning device provided by the present disclosure includes a first sensor, a second sensor, a first channel corresponding to the first sensor, a second channel corresponding to the second sensor, and a selector. The first sensor is configured to collect first image data of a to-be-scanned document. The second sensor is configured to collect second image data of the to-be-scanned document.
