  • Patent number: 9746003
Abstract: A motor suspension for fans has an air grille with radially extending braces and grille rings that are positioned coaxially to each other and are connected to each other by the radially extending braces. For adapting the motor suspension to a vibration behavior of a fan, at least one of a feature selected from a number of the braces and a diameter of the braces is varied to effect a reduction of acoustic noises and/or natural resonances of the motor suspension. The number of the braces that are preferably made of metal is preferably unequal to the number of vanes of the fan.

  • Patent number: 9103352
Abstract: A ventilator for use in air-conditioning and refrigeration technology has a housing of plastic material in a one-part configuration having integrally formed therein an inlet nozzle, cylinder-shaped flow guiding means, outlet guide vanes, and a diffusor. A drive motor is arranged in the housing. An impeller wheel is rotatably supported about a central axis in the housing and driven by the drive motor. A protective screen is connected to the housing. A motor support is connected by the outlet guide vanes to the housing. The impeller wheel has vanes with radially outwardly positioned vane ends, wherein the vane ends are embodied as flow elements (winglets). The flow elements are spaced at a minimal spacing relative to a sidewall of the housing. The drive motor is an external rotor motor that is embodied either as an alternating current asynchronous motor (AC) or an electronically commutated direct current motor (EC).

  • Patent number: 8915717
Abstract: The impeller wheel is rotatably supported about a central axis and has a hub on which vanes are arranged. The vane has across its radial length at least similar profiled sections, viewed in cylindrical section through the vane. The radial outermost profiled section which is positioned on a cylindrical enveloping surface of the impeller wheel has a greater displacement relative to the neighboring profiled section than this neighboring profiled section to its neighboring profiled section. The impeller wheel can also be provided on the radial outer edge with at least one projecting flow element whose axial height has a maximum in the area of the leading edge and of the trailing edge of the vane. The impeller wheels, while having a simple constructive configuration, provide a great noise reduction in operation of the ventilator.

  • Patent number: 8856413
Abstract: The invention relates to a dynamically addressable slave unit, comprising a bus interface, an enable circuit having a switch and two control ports which are connected via the enable circuit. The enable circuit only releases the slave unit for assigning an address by an address signal provided at the bus interface when a control signal is provided at one of the control ports and when the switch of the release signal is open. Otherwise, the enable circuit locks the slave unit for the assigning of an address. The switch locks depending on whether a switching signal is provided at the bust interface directed to the address assigned to the slave unit. The invention further relates to a master unit for use with one or more dynamically addressable slave units, to slave units according to the invention, and to a method for dynamically addressing slave units according to the invention.

  • Patent number: 8836162
Abstract: An inverter for solar panels which includes at least two inverter inputs to each of which a group of solar panels can be connected, and an inverter output to which a network can be connected. The inverter includes an inverter element with a direct voltage input and an alternating voltage output which converts a direct voltage into alternating voltage and sends it to the inverter output. An electronic control system monitors the direct voltage and the network voltage and/or the network frequency of the network. A switching system is electrically arrayed between one of the at least two inverter inputs and the direct voltage input of the inverter element. The electronic control system triggers the switching system to disconnect the at least one inverter input of the inverter from the direct voltage input of the inverter element.

  • Patent number: 8531065
Abstract: An electric motor has a stator bushing in which components that generate heat are disposed. A rotor housing that has at least one air conveying element is rotatably connected to the stator bushing. The air conveying element has a top side that is facing the stator bushing and that is at least basically smooth. The air conveying element has an annular disk that is provided with the basically smooth top side. The air conveying element has flow guiding elements that are radially extending ribs provided on the bottom side of the annular disk.
