  • Patent number: 5827983
Abstract: A keyboard testing device for actuating at least one key on a keyboard. The testing device includes a frame having a first portion for supporting a keyboard, and a second portion. A rotatable key actuator is supported by the second portion of the frame. An adjustment mechanism couples the rotatable key actuator to the second portion of the frame which allows adjustment of the actuator with respect to a computer keyboard supported on the first portion of the frame. A motor support on the second portion supports a motor which rotates the key actuator to regularly activate one of the keys on the keyboard.

  • Patent number: 4653649
Abstract: A modular storage device is disclosed which promotes convenient and efficient storage of microfilm cartridges or a plurality of like objects. The modular nature of the construction is provided by a plurality of unitary, vertically stackable rack members, selected numbers of which can be readily stacked upon the base of the unit. Each rack member is preferably of a generally circular configuration, and includes a plurality of outwardly extending support members, with adjacent ones of the support members adapted to support one of the film cartridges. For economical manufacture, each stacking rack member is configured for minimization of material, and further configured for fabrication from "structural foam" so that further material-savings can be effected. Convenient use and economical fabrication are further promoted by the configuration of the base of the unit, which together with the lowermost one of the rack members defines a pair of bearing races.

  • Patent number: 4241987
Abstract: Apparatus is disclosed suitable for installation in a camera for optimizing the relationship of the image surface of the camera relative to the image receiving surface, such as film, of the camera for different adjustments of the focusing lens and the aperture setting. The adjustment is made by moving the image receiving surface, i.e., the film, to a best fit relationship to the image surface of the lens, with the movement of the film being made after the trip button of the camera is depressed and with the adjustment of the extent of movement of the film being instantaneously responsive to the positions of the focus and aperture settings. The apparatus disclosed is also suitable for use in a general purpose camera as a mechanism for flattening and holding the film in a fixed, predetermined position.

  • Patent number: 4168116
Abstract: Apparatus within a camera for optimizing the location of the image surface of the lens of a camera relative to the image receiving surface such as film for different adjustments of the lens. A camera having an adjustable lens, nominal image receiving surface, focusing analog, and apparatus for adjusting the position of one such element with respect to the others to compensate for changes in the position of the image surface caused by adjustment of the lens to thereby place the image surface in best fit relationship to the nominal image receiving surface when correct focus is indicated by the focusing analog. The apparatus may provide for manual adjustment utilizing a setting determined on the basis of the focus setting, aperture setting and focal length setting of the lens. Automatic compensation may alternatively be provided within the camera as changes are made in lens adjustment.
