Abstract: A sputum image processing assembly for processing sputum in a sputum sample container, and method of processing an image of the sputum. The assembly includes a light source to illuminate the sputum, a light sensor to acquire a reflected light from the illuminated sputum, a light enclosure to limit a light between the light source and the light sensor, and an image processor module to generate an image of the sputum with the acquired light. Further disclosed is a method of processing a plurality of sputum samples over time. The method includes acquiring a first sputum image of a first sputum sample, analyzing the first sputum image to determine first color information, acquiring a second sputum image of a second sputum sample, analyzing the second sputum image to determine second color information, and creating a time-based sputum report based on the first color information and the second color information.
Abstract: An automated medication dispenser system is disclosed. The system includes a dispenser device comprising a medication dispensing and storage module, a dispensing drive and control mechanism, and a communications interface. A third party communications host is in communication with the dispenser device, and has administration software with executable instructions for control of the dispensing drive and control mechanism to dispense medication from the medication dispensing and storage module. The communications interface is in communication with the third party communications host.

Abstract: A portable remote medication management system for automated and adaptive precision dosing is disclosed. The system includes a medication delivery station comprising a receptacle that stores a pre-filled replaceable medication storage and closure container. The pre-filled medication container can store oral solid medication in storage silos above a rotary release mechanism and contains a storage and communication chip that communicates with the delivery station. The medication delivery station includes a delivery housing, a drive and control mechanism, communication interfaces with the container closure and remote devices, and a removable medication receptacle within the delivery station. The medication delivery station and medication closure container connect mechanically through a drive interface under the control of the station. Dosing parameter adjustments can be controlled by an administration portal and uploaded to the medication delivery station, as commanded by the administrator.
