    Abstract: A composition and method for inhibiting corrosion of ferrous metals comprising treatment with an admixture of a benzotriazole, a tolyltriazole, a substituted benzotriazole or a substituted tolyltriazole, with an acrylic or methacrylic acid ester polymer. The combination of ingredients provides unexpectedly superior corrosion protection when compared with either ingredient employed separately.
