Abstract: This invention relates to a combination of anionic and nonionic polymers and surfactants useful for the control of dust emissions into the environment. More specifically, the invention relates to novel compositions and the use of said compositions in treating particulate matter which comprises an aqueous solution of water-soluble polymers comprising a unique mixture of water-soluble anionic acrylic polymers in combination with water-soluble nonionic glycol polymers in an aqueous medium containing effective amounts of an anionic surfactant such as the sulfonates and a nonionic polyalkoxy alcohol cosurfactant.
