Abstract: The present disclosure provides a foldable bed frame and associated methods for deploying the foldable bed frame. The bed frame may comprise one or more supporting members for supporting at least a portion of the bed frame, wherein the one or more supporting members comprise: a first bar comprising an opening; a second bar comprising a groove having a first end and a second end; and a locking mechanism comprising an elastic element and a pin. The pin may be inserted into (i) the opening of the first bar and (ii) the groove of the second bar to couple the first and second bars together. The first and second bars may be movable relative to each other when the pin is moved from a first position to a second position in response to a force applied to the elastic element.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a packable assembly comprising an apparatus. The apparatus may comprise a main body comprising one or more openings or grooves; one or more support members that are insertable into the one or more openings or grooves of the main body; one or more additional support members positioned external to or remote from the one or more openings or grooves of the main body; and one or more attachment mechanisms configured to releasably couple the one or more support members to the one or more additional support members to provide structural support for the main body.

Abstract: A symmetrical zoned foam mattress includes an upper foam layer with a wavy lower side and a lower foam layer with a wavy upper side. The lower layer has top, middle and bottom lateral valleys. The wavy lower side of the upper layer is glued to the wavy upper side of the lower layer. The top lateral valley has a minimum located within eighteen inches of the top head end of the lower layer. The bottom lateral valley has a minimum located within eighteen inches of the bottom foot end of the lower layer. A center plane intersects the lower foam layer at a minimum of the middle lateral valley. The minimum of each of the top and bottom lateral valleys is about fifteen inches from the end of the mattress regardless of whether the consumer chooses to use the top or bottom end as the head of the mattress.

Abstract: Mattresses are packaged by successively rolling two compressed mattresses into a roll in which a rolling wrapper forms a spiral when viewed from an end of the roll. The bottom surface of a first mattress is placed on the wrapper such that the wrapper wraps around a first end of the mattress. The first end is then inserted between the bars of a mechanical roller. The first end is bent over onto the top surface of the mattress, and the mattress is rolled. The bottom surface of a second mattress is placed on the wrapper, and the first mattress is further rolled until successive portions of the bottom surface of the first mattress become adjacent to successive portions of the top surface of the second mattress. The wrapper is cut, and a first location near the cut edge is taped to a second location one revolution earlier on the wrapper.

Abstract: A novel bed frame is assembled by sliding the ends of hollow metal bars into narrow slots cut into other hollow metal bars. A first bar has an L-shaped first slot. A second bar has a U-shaped second slot and L-shaped third slot, both spanning two adjacent sides of the second bar. An end of the first bar is inserted into the U-shaped second slot, whose width is less than twice the thickness of the metal from which the first bar is made. A portion of the L-shaped first slot aligns with a portion of the L-shaped third slot when the first bar slides into the U-shaped second slot. The top of the third bar is inserted into the aligned first and third slots. The first bar is a longitudinal bar, and the second bar is a lateral bar of the bed frame. The third bar is a support leg.

Abstract: A flat pack table comprises a first straight bar, a second straight bar, a first U-shaped bar, a second U-shaped bar, and a rectangular table top. The flat pack table is arrangeable into a compact state in which the first U-shaped bar and second U-shaped bar are nested around the table top and the straight bars. The straight bars, the U-shaped bars, and the table top have an identical width. In the compact state, the table is insertable into a packing box having an inner width no greater than the width of the table components. The flat pack table takes up a packing area within the box that is over ninety percent of the total packing area of the box. After removing the table from the box, the table is assemblable into an end table. Compact packing of the table provides for optimal storing, shipping, and transporting of the table.

Abstract: A roller box assembly includes a roller box and a bedding product contained in the roller box. The roller box includes a cardboard box portion, a pair of fixed-axis wheels, and a handle. The fixed-axis wheels are disposed along a corner edge of a bottom portion of the box portion. The handle portion is attached to the top portion of the box portion. In one embodiment, the bedding product is a mattress that has been compressed and rolled into a cylinder shape. A retail customer can purchase the bedding product at a retail store, and can then transport the purchased product out of the store by pulling the box from the handle such that the box rolls on its rollers.

Abstract: A bed frame includes legs, bars and wooden slats. Each leg has first and second sides that meet each other at an edge. A first slot is disposed on the first side adjacent to the edge, and a second slot is disposed on the second side adjacent to the edge. Each bar has two wedge inserts. A first wedge on a lateral bar fits into the first slot, and a second wedge on a longitudinal bar fits into the second slot. The lateral bar is perpendicular to the leg while the first wedge is lodged in the first slot, and the longitudinal bar is perpendicular to the leg while the second wedge is lodged in the second slot. The first slot and the second slot are disposed between the lateral bar and the longitudinal bar while the first and second wedge inserts are lodged in the first and second slots.

Abstract: An assemblable mattress support can be shipped with all of its components compactly packed into the headboard. The mattress support includes a foldable longitudinal bar, a lateral bar, side panels, wooden slats, block legs and a footboard, all of which fit inside a compartment in the headboard. In an assembled state of the mattress support, a first connector at one end of the longitudinal bar attaches to a third connector on the outside of the headboard. A second connector at the other end of the longitudinal bar attaches to a fourth connector on the footboard. The middle of the lateral bar connects to the middle of the longitudinal bar. The block legs are attached to the bottom sides of the headboard and footboard. The slats are attached to one another by fabric ribbons and are placed in parallel over the longitudinal bar and support ledges on the side panels.
