Abstract: The invention relates to a management system for managing at least one galley container fleet comprising at least one galley container, the system comprising a server comprising a processor and a memory unit, wherein the processor is connected to the memory unit and wherein a computer program for operating the managing system is loaded onto the memory unit; at least one galley container; a galley container identifier module comprising galley container identifier data, wherein the server is arranged to receive first input data comprising the galley container identifier data, and to render at least part of the container profile in response to said input data; and at least one user interface device. The invention further more relates to a method for operating a galley container fleet management system by using a server.

Abstract: A Galley container (1) for use in an aircraft, includes at least two container sidewalls (6), a container floor element (7) and a container ceiling element (8), forming a hollow inner shell casing (2) with a circumferential first rim (12) and a circumferential second rim (12?). The composite tape (11) is spun around the inner shell casing and along the circumference of the rims, forming at least part of a construction layer (5) of the galley container. The composite tape includes at least one fiber and a matrix material.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for operating a passenger catering system by using a server, the server comprising a processor and a memory unit, wherein the processor is connected to the memory unit and wherein the processor is configured to execute the following steps: receiving first input data from a passenger interface device; comparing the first input data with stock data in a database stored in the memory unit; and transmitting first output data to a crew interface device; wherein the first output data comprise data on available stock coinciding with the received first input data. The invention also relates to a passenger catering system for a passenger transport vehicle operated via the server.
