Abstract: A sealed and self-contained tankless water heater flushing system including a holding basin, a cover lid for the holding basin firmly securable and sealed liquid tight to the holding basin, a submersible pump contained within the holding basin, a submersible pump hose, securable from the submersible pump within the holding basin to a discharge opening in the cover of the holding basin, a filter system, securable within the holding basin to a filter opening contained in the cover lid, wherein the filter system includes a filter for filtering solid substances from the tankless water heater during a flushing process, a discharge hose for connecting the discharge opening to the water heater, and a filter hose for connecting the filter opening to the water heater.

Abstract: A pump stand for supporting pumps, such as sump pumps, effluent pumps, or sewage pumps within an container, such as a sump container, including an elongated platform, circular pipe-shaped legs secured to the elongated platform, adjustable leg extenders securable to the legs to extend the height of one or more legs, openings in the platform for screening rocks and other debris, a discharge pipe attachment brace secured in a discharge pipe attachment brace opening in one end of the platform and a discharge pipe clamp attached to the discharge pipe attachment brace for securing the platform to the discharge pipe of the sump pump.

Abstract: A septic tank housing system with extension element for use in a septic system including a filter housing with sides, a top section and a bottom; a filter element holder; a plurality of filter elements; a tubular element secured to the outside of the filter housing: a filter housing extension element for extending the overall height of the filter housing; and preferably, a pump for discharging filter liquid effluent from the filter housing.

Abstract: A floor level pumping system, that is non-disruptive to the existing flooring, including a conventional rear outlet toilet, a floor level tank for receiving waste and fluid from the outlet of the toilet including a tank chamber containing a designated area with a sensing system which activates a discharge pump when the level or quantity of the waste and fluid within the tank chamber reaches a predetermined level, wherein the chamber further includes one or more baffles extending upward from a floor of the tank chamber, which baffles at least partially segregate the designated area from the remaining area of the tank chamber, wherein at least one of said baffles contains a curved surface, and a discharge pump for pumping waste from the floor level tank out through a discharge pipe, wherein the discharge pump is secured to the floor level tank.

Abstract: A dual moisture alarm system for use in submersible pumps, including a pump housing, a motor for running the pump which includes a shaft attached to an impeller. Secured to and located within the pump housing are a series of power control and sensing cords. Attached to these cords are both a lower liquid sensing probe and an upper liquid sensing probe which can sense the presence of fluids, both in a lower sealing chamber located below the motor and an upper chamber located above the motor. The upper liquid sensing probe senses the presence of fluids within the upper chamber before the power terminals also located in the upper chamber are contacted by the fluids.

Abstract: A filtering system for filtering effluent in a septic tank including an outer secondary filter secured within a pipe fitting, wherein the outer secondary filter includes a central opening passing therethrough; an inner primary filter, wherein the inner primary filter is slidingly engaged within the central opening in the outer secondary filter; and a filtering connection element, secured between the outer secondary filter and an inner surface of the pipe fitting, wherein the filtering connection element filters effluent passing upward through the filter pipe fitting and wherein upon removal of the inner primary filter, the outer secondary filter filters the effluent entering the pipe fitting before discharge. Either or both of the outer secondary filter or the inner primary filter may be formed with a biocide to retard the growth of biological material on their surfaces.

Abstract: A liquid distribution system for distributing effluent from a source of waste water. This liquid distribution system is contained within a distribution box and includes liquid inlet piping and a series of liquid flow splitting elements arranged in parallel, perpendicular to the horizontal flow of effluent through the distribution box. In addition, an adjustment system is incorporated into the liquid distribution system for maintaining the level of the liquid distribution system in the ground.

Abstract: A pump and filter system for filtering effluent in a septic system including a filter housing with sides, a top and a bottom, a filtering system secured within the filter housing, a vertical tubular element secured to the outside of the filter housing in communication with unfiltered effluent within the septic system and with an opening in the bottom or side of the filter housing, and a pump for pumping filtered effluent through the filtering system. Preferably a check valve is secured within the bottom of the filter housing.

Abstract: A bathroom waste collection and disposal unit for mounting on a floor of an enclosure includes a tank of unitary construction having a horizontal portion defining a refuse reservoir and a vertical portion open to the horizontal portion for refuse gases and to accommodate a pump. A toilet is mounted on the top surface of the horizontal portion in fluid communication with the reservoir of the horizontal portion of the tank. The horizontal portion includes a plurality of columns within the reservoir extending between the floor and top wall of the horizontal portion. The tank also includes a baffle housing for enclosing the float of the refuse pump to meter the rate of flow of water flowing away from the pump float as the pump is actuated to discharge refuse from the reservoir.
