Abstract: The present invention is composed of a drink extraction portion, a drink container for storing drink extracted by the drink extraction portion, a heat retention chamber surrounding the drink container, a fan for supplying air to the heat retention chamber for air circulation, and a heater for heating air supplied to the heat retention chamber by the fan to make warm air, the warm air heating the drink container to keep drink therein warm.
Abstract: The present invention is a method of sealing a metal vacuum structure (vacuum bottle) for evacuating a space S closed by component members (an inner shell 2 and an outer shell 3) through an evacuation port and then sealing the evacuation port.
Abstract: A filler cap for use with an insulated urn or thermal container. The filler cap comprises a filling port and a cover for receiving the filling port. When combined the cover and filling port form the filler cap which contains no moving parts when in use. A venting through the filler cap is also provided within the filler cap.
Abstract: A hot water injection apparatus for a water cooling engine having a cooling water main circulation line and a cooling water bypass circulation line comprises a thermal insulation vessel which is vertically installed. The vessel has an inlet opening and an outlet opening of which level is higher than that of the inlet opening. The inlet opening and the outlet opening are connected in series to the bypass line. When the engine is started, the high temperature water stored in the vessel flows into the engine to accelerate the warming-up operation. During the normal operation, the warmed water which is obtained by mixing the low temperature water in the main line with the high temperature water in the bypass line, flows into the engine to promote the vaporization of the fuel when the engine is stopped, the high temperature water in the bypass line is stored in the vessel and is held at a high temperature.
Abstract: An automatic bread-making device comprises a housing, a cooking vessel removably arranged therein and provided at its bottom with a rotating shaft, a kneading blade removably attached to the rotating shaft, and a driving means for rotating the kneading blade through the rotating shaft. The kneading blade is providing with at least one crescent-shaped projection at a wall surface of a bore for attachment of the blade to the rotating shaft, while the rotating shaft is provided at its upper portion with at least one groove extending in the direction parallel to a line which intersects the axis of the shaft to form a head with a figure similar to that of an opening formed between the inner wall of the bore and a free end of the projection. The kneading blade is attached to the rotating shaft so that the head of the rotating shaft is engaged with the projection of the blade when the head of the shaft is arranged in the bore of the blade.
Abstract: A vacuum-insulated, double-walled metal structure comprises inner and outer shells made of a metal and seamed together to form a double-walled structure with a space between them, the space being exhausted of air. At least one of the inner and outer shells is provided with at least one activated foil of a metal selected from the group consisting of copper, titanium and zirconium. The inner shell may be wound with an activated titanium or zirconium foil, and covered by another metal foil selected from the group consisting of copper, aluminum, titanium and zirconium, except for a part of its bottom. The metal foil wound on the metal structure is activated by preliminarily exhausting air from the space so that a pressure therein becomes reduced to a low vacuum of the order of 10.sup.-2 Torr, and then heating the double-walled structure at not less than about 400.degree. C.
Abstract: A pumping device for a liquid container comprises a bellows body with upper and lower plates. The upper plate has a suction port adapted to be communicated with the atmosphere, , and the lower plate has an exhaust port adapted to be communicated with an interior of the liquid container a suction valve is adapted to open and close the suction port; and a bellows return spring is adapted to expand the bellows body. A stop valve assembly is arranged in the bellows body and forms a bypath for communicating the interior of the bellows body with the interior of the container.
Abstract: A vacuum storage device comprises a closed vessel for storing food with an air exhaust port provided with a check valve, and a pressure reducing device for drawing out air in the closed vessel with a suction port, either of the closed vessel or the pressure reducing device being provided with structure for hermetically connecting the suction port of the pressure reducing device to the air exhaust port of the closed vessel, the pressure reducing device and closed vessel being removably and hermetically connected to one another by mounting the former on the latter or vice versa.
Abstract: An automatic bread-making device comprises a housing, a cooking vessel, a kneading apparatus for kneading ingredients for bread in the vessel, a heating apparatus for heating the cooking vessel, and a control system for controlling the kneading apparatus and heating apparatus in sequence. The control system comprises a control memory for storing a sequence of standard operations for a bread-making process, a time-setting apparatus for manually setting a time at which a step to be executed in the bread-making process is proceeded to the next step, a storage apparatus for storing a sequence of operations set by the time-setting apparatus, and a control apparatus responsive to the program stored in the control memory apparatus or the program stored in the storage apparatus.
