Abstract: A safety hatch for tanks, washing machines, industrial machines and the like comprises a frame and an arm having a first end pivotally connected to the frame. A second end of the arm has a surface portion provided with a hole having a circular section communicating with a slot section which extends to an external edge of the arm. A male threaded member is dimensioned to extend through the arm hole and has a first end pivotally connected to the frame and a second end. A female threaded member is adapted for threaded engagement with the male threaded member and has a head section and a shank section. A clamping member is integrally connected to the shank section of the female threaded member and has a tubular portion extending from the shank section.
