Abstract: A system for managing a sales force that includes at least one sales associate comprises a management console and a mobile console that is in communication with the management console via a data communication network. The mobile console includes a positioning module for determining a geographical position of the mobile console, an interface for receiving input from the sales associate, a display for presenting information to the sales associate, a wireless communication interface for sending and receiving information via the data communication network, a data reader, a memory for storing information and operational instructions for the mobile console, and a processor for controlling and for sending information to and receiving information from the positioning module, the interface, the display, the wireless communication interface, the data reader, and the memory.
