Abstract: In the case of a light influencing element (6) for directing the light emitted from a light source (4) to a predetermined angular region, which has a plurality of rib-like raster elements (7, 12), which have reflecting side walls and are arranged in regular structure, the raster elements (7, 12) have a height (H) of a maximum of 5 mm. Through this there arise on the one hand greater freedoms in the design of the luminaire. On the other hand, the luminaire is lent an optical appealing appearance.
Abstract: The invention relates to a light comprising a light source or connection means for a light source, and a transparent panel which extends crosswise to a direction of light emission. An object of the invention is to improve the light in terms of glare suppression. To this end, the transparent panel is provided with a microstructure and light homogenization means are provided. The latter ensure that the brightness of the light entering the panel is approximately equal in all parts of the panel.
Abstract: A lighting system contains at least one controllable first light (NL), which is connected to a first current supply (L, N), and at least one controllable emergency current light (SL), which is connected to a further emergency current supply (P, N), separate from the first current supply (L, N). All lights have respective control devices associated therewith, all control devices being connected to a common bus (D1, D2). A monitoring device (5) issues a monitoring signal corresponding to the condition of the first current supply (L, N) onto the bus (D1, D2), which monitoring signal is evaluated at least by the control device of the emergency current light (SL) for the recognition of a disruption and for activation of an emergency current operation.

Abstract: An optical element (1) for reflecting and/or redirecting light rays (L1) entering therein and again emerging therefrom consists of a transparent base body (2) which is so structured and/or formed that, with the formation of reflection surfaces (8) bounding the base body (2), at least a part of the light rays (L1) impinging upon the reflection surfaces (8) upon emergence from the transparent base body (2) are totally reflected, and at least one cover body (9) arranged behind the reflection surfaces (8). The reflection surfaces (8), and the surfaces of the cover body or bodies (9) towards the reflection surfaces, are adapted to one another such that between them there remains a thin gap (10) or only point contacts exist.
Abstract: A luminaire louvre (1) for an elongate luminaire comprises two elongate side reflectors (2) and a plurality of transverse lamellas (10). The side reflectors (2) in each case have an inner wall (3) and an outer wall (4), which transition into one another in one piece.
