  • Patent number: 8863471
Abstract: A method and a device serve for the installation of a false floor above a bare floor include false-floor supports that are placed in a regular grid pattern on the bare floor, on which floor panels are arranged alongside one another in rows. Mounting positions are determined for the false-floor supports and the false-floor supports to be installed are correspondingly positioned. Furthermore, a mounting plane lying at a mounting height is at least partially determined preferably by using laser devices. The false-floor supports to be installed are then positioned relative to the mounting plane. Pedestals, which are composed of solidifying pedestal material that is binding to the bare floor and which project beyond the mounting plane, are provided at the mounting positions before, during or after the positioning of the false-floor supports. The false-floor supports are then held each in the respective pedestal until the latter has solidified.

  • Publication number: 20070184714
Abstract: A cable guiding device with a cable guiding portion, such as a duct, that serves for guiding installed cables and that is mounted by a mounting device to a part of a building, such as a wall or ceiling. Said mounting device comprises a holder having an upper portion, a lower portion and at least two opposing side walls, which define a cavity with a longitudinal axis substantially parallel to the axis of the mounted cable guiding portion. The holder further comprises at least one longitudinal slot disposed at an angle relative to said longitudinal axis, said slot extending the length of said holder and providing access to the cavity which is dimensioned to receive and at least partially envelope a cable disposed therein. The cable guiding portion, which comprises a bottom and first and second side walls, is attachable to said holder so as to cover said slot opening and wherein the cable guiding portion is dimensioned to clutch at least a portion of said holder.

  • Publication number: 20060175510
Abstract: The ceiling support (1), the purpose of which is to install a cable routing device (6), has an end piece (3) attached to a ceiling (9) and a connection piece (2) attaching thereto which is provided with a bracket (5) on which the load to be carried can be laid. According to the invention, the ceiling support (1) is mounted on the ceiling (9) only by means of one mounting bolt (8) provided on the end piece (3), and is supported against the ceiling (9) on the side opposite the load (6) at least by one support element (32, 320) which is located at a second distance (L2) from the mounting bolt (8) such that the load torque with the force (FL) of the load applied by the mounting bolt (8) at a first distance (L1) is essentially completely compensated by the counter-torque with the force (FD) applied to the support element (32, 320) by the ceiling (9) at the second distance (L2).

  • Patent number: 6305991
Abstract: The invention is directed to connected metallic conductors which are flat and made from aluminum or aluminum-copper compounds. Oppositely-located contact surfaces (3) are provided with grooves (4), indentations or the like on the conductors. During assembly, the contact surfaces (3) are brought into direct contact, and the conductors are pressed together with such a strong force that a plastic deformation and, consequently, a metallic, electrically-conductive contact are effected at a plurality of locations at the contact surfaces. The plastic deformation effects a breaking open or splintering of oxide layers present at the contact surfaces, which exposes bare metal for producing the contact. The pressing force can be generated by tightening screws (in bores 2), which are led, for example, directly through the contact surfaces (3). A connection of line-bar segments with a plurality of parallel conductors is also described.

  • Patent number: 5947425
Abstract: The holding device is intended to allow more rapid, secure and simpler height-adaptable pipe mounting, which is intended to reduce the number of types required up to now for different pipe diameters and to be produced inexpensively. For example, a C- or L-shaped pipe support (10) is essentially designed as a plate, in whose lower area a pipe bed (12) is formed. At least on the side towards the pipe bed (12), the pipe support (10) is designed for the releasable connection with a holding element (6), which can project upwardly, laterally or downwardly. A pipe hold-down (20), which is vertically adjustable for receiving pipes (1) of different diameters, is fixed resting flat against the pipe support (10). The, as a whole very flat, construction of the holding device also allows a perfect heat insulation of the pipe, since no or only narrow gaps are created between successive insulating shells (4) laterally resting against the holder.

  • Patent number: 5927658
Abstract: Wire trellis cable trays (10, 10') made of cross wires (1) and longitudinal wires (2) connecting the former are to be made stackable so that they can be stored and transported in practical groups in a space-saving manner. For this purpose, the side legs (3) of the U-shaped cross wires (1) are crimped toward the outside at a certain height, resulting in a proportional widening of an upper portion of the tray cross-section. The stackability (with the cross wires being slightly offset in a longitudinal direction) is thus attained.

  • Patent number: 5265386
Abstract: To simplify and speed up the laying of access floors formed of floor panels (6) laid on supports (5) set out in a regular pattern, an ancillary plane (4) extending over a field (3) of grid points (2) is levelled up at a distance from the subfloor or structural slab (1). A device (10) with a frame (11) and outriggers (12) is used to define the ancillary plane, to hold temporarily a multiplicity of supports (5) and introduce them simultaneously. The supports are then simultaneously adjusted in height and fixed on the grid points (2) in accordance with the respective distance between the ancillary plane and the (uneven) subfloor (1). The supports are then released from the device (10), the device is removed, and the panels (6) are laid on the accurately positioned head pieces of the supports. Various embodiments of the method, the device (10), and particularly suitable prefabricated supports (5) are described.
