Abstract: A flashlight has a housing, a battery in the housing, a light source on the housing, and a circuit between the battery and the light source and including a switch actuatable to energize the light source. A package encloses the flashlight and holds an externally actuatable package switch separate from the housing switch and carried on the packaging material and wiring connected between the package switch and the circuit of the flashlight such that the package switch is actuatable to energize the light source. The wiring is releasably connected to the circuit for disconnection of the wiring and package switch from the circuit on separation of the flashlight from the package.
Abstract: A reflective lamp in which the light source is connected to the reflector through a stirrup and in which either or both the reflector and the light source can be axially adjusted but the light source lies externally of the reflector shell.
