Abstract: Data acquired from a scan of an object can be decomposed into frequency components. The frequency components can be input into a trained model to obtain processed frequency components. These processed frequency components can be composed and used to generate a final image. The trained model can be trained, independently or dependently, using frequency components covering the same frequencies as the to-be-processed frequency components. In addition, organ specific processing can be enabled by training the trained model using image and/or projection datasets of the specific organ.

Abstract: A general workflow for deep learning based image restoration in X-ray and fluoroscopy/fluorography is disclosed. Higher quality images and lower quality images are generated as training data. This training data can further be categorized by anatomical structure. This training data can be used to train a learned model, such as a neural network or deep-learning neural network. Once trained, the learned model can be used for real-time inferencing. The inferencing can be more further improved by employing a variety of techniques, including pruning the learned model, reducing the precision of the learned mode, utilizing multiple image restoration processors, or dividing a full size image into snippets.

Abstract: An X-ray CT apparatus of an embodiment acquires projection data of a subject based on X-ray detection data according to biometric information synchronous scanning and generates a CT image of the subject based on the projection data. The X-ray CT apparatus includes a first acquisition unit, a determination unit, and a second acquisition unit. The first acquisition unit acquires biometric information of the subject at a timing when the biometric information synchronous scanning has been performed. The determination unit determines, as priority data, detection data that is a target for which data transfer will be preferentially performed among X-ray detection data acquired in the biometric information synchronous scanning based on the biometric information. The second acquisition unit acquires the priority data from a storage device that holds the detection data.
