  • Publication number: 20210038120
Abstract: A method and system for monitoring neuromuscular blockade in patients during surgical procedures. A stimulator provides stimulation to a nerve of the patient, such as train-of-four (TOF). Following such stimulation, the system and method creates a predicted recovery trend for the patient that is based upon measured recovery trend and a recovery model. The recovery model estimates a recovery trend for the patient based on initial model parameter values. The recovery model creates a predicted recovery trend that is used to estimate a recovery time for the patient. The trend values from the patient are monitored and compared to the predicted trend values throughout the operation as long as the NMT measurement is on. During recovery, the recovery model and recovery time estimates are updated based on the recovery trend being formed from measurements of the patient.

Abstract: There is provided a method and system for monitoring an asset. For example, there is provided a method that includes executing, by a system configured to monitor the asset, a series of operations that can include fetching, from a database communicatively coupled to the system, a data structure including information relative to one or more sources containing event data relative to the asset. The method may include generating, from the data structure, a first table including a list of sources. The method may include generating, from the data structure, a second table including a list of unique consolidated events. The method may include generating, based on a set of predetermined rules, a mapping table configured to relate the first table and the second table. The method may include associating, based on the mapping table, an event in the second table to the one or more sources in the first table.

Abstract: A method for assessing or validating wind turbine or wind farm performance produced by one or more upgrades is provided. Measurements of operating data from wind turbines in a wind farm are obtained. Baseline models of performance are generated, and each of the baseline models is developed from a different portion of the operating data. A generating step filters the wind turbines so that they are in a balanced randomized state. An optimal baseline model of performance is selected from the baseline models and the optimal baseline model includes direction. The optimal baseline model of performance and an actual performance of the wind farm or wind turbine is compared. The comparing step determines a difference between an optimal baseline model of power output and an actual power output of the wind farm/turbine. The difference is reflective of a change in the power output produced by the upgrades.
