  • Patent number: 8496217
Abstract: The present invention relates to a pressure-applying telescopic spacer formed by two attached tubes telescopically coupled to one another with sheet metal rings pushed by a spring for establishing a wedging and driving of the sheet metal rings on the inner tube and blocking the axial movement of the latter with respect to the outer tube. The assembly of sheet metal rings and push spring being located in a head belonging to a sleeve with anchoring devices for the fixing thereof on the outer tube. The body determined by the sleeve and the head or expansion forming a handle for manually handling the spacer. Support plates are connected with movable devices for adjusting the spacing length of the spacer itself to the desired measurement are included at the ends.

  • Patent number: 8322673
Abstract: A television mounting system includes a wall plate, at least one monitor arm mountable on the wall plate, and a locking mechanism including a rotating locking element permanently connected with the monitor arm. The rotating element is moveable, by rotation of the rotating element a portion of a revolution, between an unlocked position for enabling dismounting of the at least one monitor arm from the wall plate, and a locked position for preventing dismounting of the at least one monitor arm from the wall plate. The rotating element includes a first side having a different height than a second side. In the locked position of the locking element, the first side is less of a distance from a contact portion of the wall plate than a distance the monitor arm must be moved for dismounting the monitor arm from the wall plate, such that the locking element contacts the contact portion before the monitor can be moved for being dismounted from the wall plate.

  • Patent number: 8251326
Abstract: A clamp described herein can secure a solar cell array to a seam of a standing seam metal roof. The clamp has a cam that is rotated by the tightening of a bolt to cause the cam to engage the seam. The clamp also has a receiver for receiving the seam and the rotated cam. By installing the clamp on the seam, the solar cell array can be secured to the standing seam metal roof without drilling into the roof. Because no screws are required to be drilled into the rooftop, the damage to the rooftop is substantially reduced. Also, by reversing the process described above, the clamp can be uninstalled in a similar fashion.
