Abstract: A system includes a dishwasher, an image capturing device designed to capture an image of washware arranged in the washing chamber, with the image including a plurality of sub-images, each of which having different spectral information of the washware. An illumination unit illuminates the washware in the washing chamber, and an image analysis unit receives the captured image from the image capturing device and to carry out a chemical analysis of soiling on the washware based on the plurality of sub-images of the received image and to ascertain a dirt characteristic of soiling as a result of the chemical analysis. A control device carries out a washing program for washing the washware in the washing chamber. The control device receives the dirt characteristic from the image analysis unit and adapts the washing program for washing the washware as a function of the received dirt characteristic.
Abstract: A medical instrument (1000) includes a stent (100) and a constraining structure (300). The constraining structure (300) constrains, and thereby prevents tangling of, a trailing section of the stent (100), ensuring successful release of the stent (100). Specifically, the stent (100) has a first proximal end and an opposing first distal end. The first distal end is configured with an expanded configuration and a collapsed configuration. The trailing section at the first distal end includes a number of protrusions (111). The constraining structure (300) includes a body (310) and a clamping mechanism (320). The clamping mechanism (320) is disposed at a distal end of the body (310), and the body (310) extends from the first proximal end to the first distal end. The clamping mechanism (320) limits relative movement and thus prevents tangling of the protrusions (111) by passing through all or some of the protrusions (111).

The display apparatus includes a display portion in which a first arrangement pattern and a second arrangement pattern are repeatedly arranged in this order in a first direction. In the first arrangement pattern, a first subpixel, a second subpixel, and a third subpixel are repeatedly arranged in this order in a second direction. In the second arrangement pattern, a fourth subpixel and a fifth subpixel are repeatedly arranged in this order in the second direction. The first to fourth subpixels each include a light-emitting device. The fifth subpixel includes a light-receiving device.

Abstract: Systems and processes are presented for real time health credentialing of individuals seeking entry to a facility requiring health credentialing for access. A system and process for real time detection of a febrile condition comprises providing a heat sensor operable to receive thermal radiation from a person. Optionally, the system provides a controller operable to selectively orient the thermal sensor incident to the facial region of a person within a zone of detection. Further, the system optionally processes the sensor temperature to conditionally determine a febrile condition.
Abstract: A method of making a blind hole in a wall of a multi-section tank during manufacture includes inserting a thin, flexible composite spacer ring in a hole in a composite material between mating parts of a soluble tool. The composite spacer ring is cured to the composite material during curing and maintains the hole between sections of the tank once completed.
