Abstract: A clothing treatment apparatus includes: a cabinet; a first clothing treatment chamber for accommodating clothes in the cabinet; a machine chamber for supplying steam or air to the first clothing treatment chamber; and a door assembly for opening and closing an opening. The door assembly includes: a first panel having a second clothing treatment chamber for treating clothes formed therein, the first panel being open at one side and being pivotably connected to the cabinet; a second panel for opening and closing the open one side of the first panel; and a partition plate, disposed between the first panel and the second panel, for applying pressure to each of the clothes placed on the first panel and the clothes placed on the second panel.

Abstract: Improved systems and methods for securing license plates are disclosed herein. In the preferred embodiments discussed, the systems and methods are applied to the securing of dealer license plates. Abstract: An assembly monitors exterior regions of a rail vehicle. In the region of the front side of the rail vehicle, a driver's cab is arranged, which driver's cab has a driver's cab field of view in a first direction of travel. A first lateral region has a first camera system oriented in the direction of travel, which optically captures an angular range along the first lateral region as a first lateral field of view. A second lateral region has a second camera system oriented in the direction of travel, which captures an angular range along the second lateral region as a second lateral field of view. The first and second camera systems are connected to a display device so that image series of the lateral fields of view in the first direction of travel are displayed to the traction vehicle driver in addition to the drivers cab field of view.
Abstract: A method for operating a magnetic resonance facility in which a measurement gradient pulse is used to record magnetic resonance signals for sampling k-space along a trajectory section. The recorded magnetic resonance signals are assigned to k-space points using a shape function describing the time profile of the measurement gradient pulse. To correct deviations of the real time profile of the measurement gradient pulse from an assumed target profile, a first correction measurement is performed to ascertain first magnetic resonance signals of the trajectory section. A second correction measurement is then performed using a reference sampling pattern or a reference gradient pulse with fewer deviations from an assigned reference target profile. If a deviation criterion is met, a correction function for the shape function is ascertained by aligning the first and second magnetic resonance signals to one another, providing correction information to be used in an imaging measurement.

Abstract: Roofing granules comprising agglomerated inorganic material treated with carbon dioxide gas, and building materials, such as shingles, that include such roofing granules. By fabricating roofing granules from agglomerating inorganic material it is possible to tailor the particle size distribution so as to provide optimal shingle surface coverage, thus reducing shingle weight and usage of raw materials. Additionally, the use of agglomeration permits the utilization of by-products from conventional granule production processes.

Abstract: An online concierge system allows users to order items from a warehouse having multiple physical locations, allowing a user to order items at any given warehouse location. To select a warehouse location for a warehouse selected by a user, the online concierge system identifies a set of items that the user has a threshold likelihood of purchasing from prior orders by the user. For each of a set of warehouse locations, the online concierge system applies a machine-learned item availability model to each item of the identified set. From the availabilities of items of the set at each warehouse location of the set, the online concierge system selects a warehouse location. The online concierge system identifies an inventory of items from the selected warehouse location to the user for inclusion in an order.

Abstract: Provided is a protection film attaching apparatus according to the present invention comprising: a housing; a jig installed on an upper surface of the housing and fixing one side of a protection film; a gripper installed on one side of the housing and elastically supporting another side of the protection film vertically; and a film attaching part installed in the housing to move in a lengthwise direction of the jig so as to pressurize and attach the protection film onto a glass surface of an electronic device. According to the description above, when a protection film is attached onto a surface of glass having curved edges, air bubbles are not generated on the surface of the glass, and an attaching process becomes easier and more effectively done.

Abstract: An embodiment of an apparatus for generating audio subband values in audio subband channels includes an analysis windower for windowing a frame of time-domain audio input samples being in a time sequence extending from an early sample to a later sample using an analysis window function including a sequence of window coefficients to obtain windowed samples. The analysis window function includes a first number of window coefficients derived from a larger window function including a sequence of a larger second number of window coefficients, wherein the window coefficients of the window function are derived by an interpolation of window coefficients of the larger window function.
