Abstract: An apparatus and a method for singling value documents involve a feeding device adapted to feed a respectively uppermost value document of a stack of value documents to a picking device adapted to pick the value document from the stack. A conveying device is adapted to receive the stack and to convey it relative to the feeding device. A distance sensor is adapted to detect at least one distance of the respectively uppermost value document of the stack received by the conveying device relative to the feeding device and generate at least one corresponding distance sensor signal. A control device is adapted to control the conveying of the stack relative to the feeding device and the location of the feeding device relative to the stack based on the distance sensor signal.
Abstract: An injection moulding apparatus including at least a first mould plate, the first mould plate having a first injection inlet arranged in fluid connection with a first gate leading into a mould cavity and a second injection inlet arranged in fluid connection with a second gate leading into the mould cavity. The first and second injection inlets are arranged to open in sequence. The second gate includes a first gate volume leading into the mould cavity. The second gate is further provided with a second gate volume allowing injection material to flow into the second gate volume at the same time as into the first gate volume and thereafter into the mould cavity.

Abstract: A sheet supply device includes a cassette, a housing, a first roller, and a first rib. The cassette is capable of accommodating a sheet. The housing movably supports the cassette in a first direction. The first roller is supported by the housing. The first roller is rotatable about a rotation axis parallel to a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The first roller includes a pair of flanges spaced apart from each other in the second direction. The first rib protrudes downward from the cassette. Abstract: A system for regulating a pump down operation may include a controller, a motor drive, a parameter estimation unit and a controller design unit. In examples, the controller may be configured to identify a difference between a downhole tension set-point to an actual downhole tension. The motor drive may be configured to adjust a line speed set point of the motor drive based at least in part on the difference from the controller to create an actual line speed from the motor drive to follow the downhole tension set-point. The parameter estimation unit may be configured to produce a fluid drag coefficient, a friction coefficient, and a line speed delay constant. The controller design unit may be configured to send one or more control gains to the controller based at least in part on the fluid drag coefficient, the friction coefficient, and the line speed delay constant.

Abstract: A sheet handling device includes: a first storage; a second storage using a storage method different form that of the first storage; a transporter that transports a sheet; and a controller that controls the transporter to transport the sheet. When the second storage is neither a transport source of the sheet nor a transport destination of the sheet, the controller controls the transporter to transport the sheet at a first speed. When the second storage is at least the transport source of the sheet or the transport destination of the sheet, the controller controls the transporter to transport the sheet at a second speed lower than the first speed.
