Abstract: An example method of operation may include receiving audio data, via one or more microphones of a network device, from an audio source, determining a location of the audio data based on a direction and amplitude of the received audio data, modifying the audio data for output via a loudspeaker of the network device, and outputting, via the loudspeaker, the modified audio data.

Abstract: Systems and methods for adjusting a sound level during a conference call are disclosed herein. Conferencing application receives an audio input including a first sound and a second sound. A user selectable element is generated for each sound in an user interface, where a user selection setting a first user selectable element associated with the first sound at a user-specified level is received. The sound level for the first sound is adjusted based on the user selection and output at the user-specified level while the second sound is output at a default sound level.
Abstract: Systems and processes for operating an intelligent automated assistant are provided. In one example, a user request for a media item is received. Based on the user request, at least one media item and a description of the at least one media item are identified. A confidence level is obtained that an identified media item of the at least one media item corresponds to the requested media item. In accordance with a determination that the confidence level exceeds a first confidence threshold, a length of the identified description is reduced to obtain a modified description and the modified description of the identified media item is provided in a first spoken response.

Abstract: An agent coordination device that controls sound output according to an instruction from a plurality of agents that are capable of being instructed to perform a predetermined service by speech interaction; and controls so that, in a case in which a first agent among the plurality of agents is performing one of audiobook playback or music playback as the predetermined service while a second agent among the plurality of agents is performing another of audiobook playback or music playback as the predetermined service, audiobook playback is performed with a music playback volume reduced.
