Abstract: A system for process monitoring of the treatment of media, in particular a HACCP-compliant system for the preservation of foods. In order to ensure and standardize successful treatment, system comprises an electroporator for treating a medium with a pulsed electric field, at least one measuring device for determining a change of a condition parameter of the medium caused by the treatment with the pulsed electric field, and an evaluation device for comparing the determined change of the condition parameter to a predetermined change target value and for outputting a warning signal once the difference between the determined change and the predetermined change target value exceeds a limit value.

Abstract: In order to improve and make more reliable the preparation of food by several kitchen appliances, the present invention proposes a system and a method. The system for preparing foodstuffs comprises a first kitchen appliance, in particular a cook mixer, a second kitchen appliance and a control unit, the first kitchen appliance having at least one detection means for detecting at least one piece of information about the state of a foodstuff, wherein the first kitchen appliance is connected to the control unit via a first communication connection, and wherein the further kitchen appliance is connected to the control unit via a second communication connection, and is characterized in that the control unit is configured to compare the at least one piece of detected information about the state of the foodstuff with a preparation instruction and in that the control unit is configured to control the further kitchen appliance as a function of the result of the comparison.

Abstract: A control method and a control system for a capsule endoscope are provided. The control method comprises acquiring a frame rate of the capsule endoscope. The frame rate is the number of frames of images captured by the capsule endoscope per unit time. The control method further comprises controlling the number of radio frequency transmission channels that are turned on according to the frame rate. The number of radio frequency transmission channels that are turned on is at least two, and the radio frequency transmission channels transmit the captured images. The control method and control system for the capsule endoscope can adaptively distribute a plurality of radio frequency transmission channels according to the real-time position of the capsule endoscope, and further turn on the radio frequency transmission channels to transmit a plurality of signals synchronously or asynchronously.
Abstract: A control system for an engine comprising a turbocharger includes a throttle valve, a cold light off catalyst (CLOC), a CLOC valve, and a controller. The CLOC is positioned in a bypass passage around a turbine of the turbocharger. The CLOC valve selectively routes exhaust flow from the engine between the turbine and the CLOC. The controller is configured to command the CLOC valve to a first position whereby exhaust flow is routed to the CLOC in a CLOC mode; determine, based on operation in the CLOC mode, a pressure drop within the turbocharger; and command the actuator to move resulting in increased airflow into the engine while in the CLOC mode.
