Abstract: The plug-type coupling includes a molded sealing ring for producing liquid-tight or gas-tight connections, the plug-type coupling having a socket and a plug that can be axially plugged into each other, and the molded sealing ring being implemented as a lip seal disposed in a circumferential groove of the plug. The object is to further develop a plug-type coupling including a molded sealing ring of the above type in such a way that a pumping effect is prevented, in order to thus prevent a vacuum on the groove bottom during pulsating stresses on the plug-type coupling.
