  • Patent number: 9353951
Abstract: A combustor with a burner maintains combustion stability. The burner includes an air hole member 31 with a plurality of air holes 34, 35 provided at an upstream side of the combustion gases generated by a combustion chamber 1. A first fueling nozzle 33 jets fuel in a direction crossing a central axis of the burner towards at least two of air holes 35. A plurality of second fueling nozzles 32, one for each of the remaining air holes 34, are provided to jet the fuel in a direction routed along the burner axis towards the corresponding air hole 34. A fuel header 30 distributes the fuel to the first fueling nozzle 33 and each of the second fueling nozzles 32. A fuel header storage unit 70 shrouds the fuel header 30, fueling nozzles 32, 33, and has an air inflow hole 71.

  • Patent number: 9347688
Abstract: A concentrating solar collector that includes a target, a plurality of mirror assemblies, and a master tracking assembly that controls the mirror assemblies is disclosed. The mirror assemblies are fixed at a plurality of distinct locations with respect to the target, each mirror assembly includes a moveable mirror and a tracking assembly. Each tracking assembly includes a target member, a sun member, and a tracking actuator. The target member is fixed relative to the target such that the target member points at the target. The sun member is moveable relative to the target such that when the sun member points to the sun, light from the sun is reflected onto the target. The master tracking assembly moves each of the sun members such that the sun members simultaneously point at the sun. The tracking actuators are mechanical devices that are coupled to the master tracking assembly by a mechanical linkage.

  • Patent number: 9341381
Abstract: A home appliance, particularly a gas range including an appliance body, a cooktop on the appliance body, an oven cavity in the body, a gas-operable heating element in the cavity for heating the cavity to a cooking temperature and including a gas mixing pipe having an inlet open to the cavity for intake of gas and air for combustion. A ventilation channel extends through the appliance body intermediate the cooktop and the oven cavity. A fan is in the appliance body, the fan being in fluid communication with the ventilation channel for creating an airstream within the ventilation channel. An air conduit extends between the ventilation channel and the gas mixing pipe, with an air conduit inlet in the airstream and an air conduit outlet adjacent the gas mixing pipe to direct air from the airstream to the gas mixing pipe for combustion with the gas and air.

  • Patent number: 9295580
Abstract: A disposable heated glove for heating a wearer's hand includes a fabric material for covering the palm and back of the hand, four finger portions for covering the wearer's fingers and a thumb portion for covering the wearer's thumb. The glove also includes five small elongated pouches with each pouch being associated with a different one of the finger and thumb portions. A quantity of exothermic chemicals is sealed within each of the pouches whereby removing chemicals from one of the pouches results in the destruction of the pouch so that it cannot be reused. In one embodiment, the chemicals are activated to create heat by manually manipulating the same to mix the chemicals. In another embodiment, the chemicals are activated by exposing them to the atmosphere.

  • Patent number: 9249989
Abstract: A solar radiator is a structure producing two cross shades in corridors, it dissipates solar energy for protecting corridors from excess of solar energy, the average temperature on the soil in the corridors slows down considerably therefore there is a decrease of the evaporation of moister in such corridors, the solar radiator is suitable to produce at least two cross protective shades in the same corridor and is suitable to collect, transmit and dissipate passively, without causing pollution or using other power, at least part of the energy of the solar radiation that strikes its panels. The solar radiator is designed to protect corridors, crops and plants against excessive solar radiation and moister evaporation.
