Abstract: Systems, methods, and graphical user interfaces for concurrent display of a reply message and two or more response options are disclosed. In some implementations, a method includes, at a computer, maintaining the display of a reply message associated with a plurality of response options. Each respective response option in the plurality of response options is independently associated with one or more recipient addresses for the reply message. While maintaining the display of at least a portion of the reply message, at least one recipient address for the reply message is updated in accordance with a selected response option. In some implementations, the maintaining of the display of at least a portion of the reply message includes maintaining the display of at least a portion of a message body of the reply message. In some embodiments, the selected response option is one of: reply, reply to all, and forward.

Abstract: One or more embodiments described herein include methods and systems of organizing a user interface of a communication system. More specifically, systems and methods described herein provide users the ability to easily and effectively compose an electronic communication directly in a communication thread, thus reducing user interface clutter. Additionally, systems and methods described herein selectively provide display elements within a messaging user interface according to the type of message a user is creating.

Abstract: In general, techniques are described for providing a user interface to create report specifications and included source definitions for business reporting and analysis. For example, a computing device includes a user interface (UI) module for displaying a graphical user interface (GUI) and receiving a selection of a data element at a start location of the GUI. The UI module may display an overlay element having a boundary forming a plurality of paths from the start location to a plurality of end locations, the paths corresponding to a plurality of report options associated with the data element. The UI module may receive a second input indicative of a traversal of the overlay element along a chosen path. The computing device may include a definition module operable to create a definition for a report specification based at least in part on the report option corresponding to the chosen path.

Abstract: Configurations are provided for suggesting one or more other users within a same or proximate geolocation to enable the user to engage in activities with these suggested users. When the user performs a check-in for a new or different geolocation in an online social networking service, the subject technology can suggest other users who have recently checked-in and/or changed their location to the same place or region. The subject technology can sort one or more suggested users based on geographic proximity, how recently the user checked-in, a distance from the user, and other criteria (e.g., interests, demographic information (e.g., gender, age, etc.), social networking profile, etc.). The suggested users are selected, in one example, to identify one or more users that are typically not in the same place or geolocation but have newly arrived here. The subject technology can prioritize the selection of suggested users based on different criteria.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for providing a content information viewing mode in electronic devices. In an embodiment, in response to a gesture performed on an electronic touch sensitive device, a content icon may be moved from its original location and information about that item of digital content may be displayed to the user. The information may be displayed on the portion of the screen previously occupied by the content icon. Releasing contact with the touch screen allows the icon to return to its original location. Moving the content icon past a certain point, may allow the user to edit the newly displayed content information. An audio and/or visual indicator may be output by the electronic device alerting the user that the newly visible information may now be edited. Movement that extends further may indicate that icon movement is desired, not the information viewing/editing mode.

Abstract: Various embodiments generally relate to user interface elements informative of referral incentives. In some embodiments, contact information may be obtained for contacts associated with a user of a content management system. Various amounts of additional storage space available to the user upon acceptance of referral requests sent by or on behalf of the user to the contacts may be determined. One or more graphic indicator of various types may be displayed to the user indicating one or more of: amounts of additional storage space obtainable through successful new referrals, the user's current storage space, and the relative sizes of the user's current storage space and the amounts of additional storage space.

Abstract: A computer readable medium storing a media editing application for creating media presentations is described. The application includes a graphical user interface (GUI). The GUI has (1) a composite display area for displaying graphical representations of a set of media clips that are part of the composite presentation and (2) a navigation tool including several selectable navigation markers associated with several navigable locations in the composite presentation. The selection of a navigation marker causes the composite display area to present the navigable location in the composite presentation that is associated with the selected navigation marker.

Abstract: In an apparatus configured to reproduce audio guidance corresponding to a screen, when there is an instruction to switch to a screen in a backward direction, since audio guidance has already been reproduced once during a screen transition in a forward direction, the same audio guidance is not reproduced again.

Abstract: A method, non-transitory computer readable medium, and apparatus for providing a tool menu based upon a document displayed on an endpoint device are disclosed. For example, the method opens the document requested by a user in the endpoint device, detects one or more portions of the document that require data entry, determines a type of data entry that is required for the one or more portions of the document that are detected to require data entry, detects one or more configuration settings of the endpoint device and displays one or more tools selected from a plurality of tools on the tool menu based upon the type of data entry that is required for the one or more portions of the document and the one or more configuration settings of the endpoint device.

Abstract: A multi-modal user interface is described that hides response latency delays. A graphical user interface (GUI) supports different user input modalities including low delay inputs which respond to user inputs without significant delay, and high latency inputs which have a significant response latency after receiving a user input before providing a corresponding completed response. The GUI accepts user inputs in a sequence of mixed input modalities independently of response latencies without waiting for responses to high latency inputs, and responds to each user input in the sequence as if each preceding user input in the sequence had been performed without response latencies.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for presenting data are disclosed. In one aspect, a method includes presenting, by a user device, an answer box as a search result in a search result location of a search results page. The answer box can include first content responsive to a query that submitted with a first resource request over a network. The user device determines that a user interaction with the answer box has occurred. In response to determining that the user interaction has occurred, the user device can presents second content in the answer box. The second content is selected from available content that has not been presented prior to the user interaction. The second content is presented independent of submission of a second resource request over the network subsequent to submission of the first resource request.

Abstract: Techniques are described to share items from a favorites list. In an implementation, a list entry for a favorites list may be associated with content from a third party source by a first user. The favorites list may be presented in a webpage to display the list entry and the associated content to another user. A control operable to share the list entry with the other user may be exposed with the list entry. Responsive to operation of the control, the content and/or related data may be obtained from the third party source and data may be stored to associate the list entry including the obtained content with the other user. In at least some embodiments, the control is operable by a single-click to cause the sharing of the list entry.

Abstract: Touch interaction with a curved display (e.g., a sphere, a hemisphere, a cylinder, etc.) is enabled through various user interface (UI) features. In an example embodiment, a curved display is monitored to detect a touch input. If a touch input is detected based on the act of monitoring, then one or more locations of the touch input are determined. Responsive to the determined one or more locations of the touch input, at least one user UI feature is implemented. Example UI features include an orb-like invocation gesture feature, a rotation-based dragging feature, a send-to-dark-side interaction feature, and an object representation and manipulation by proxy representation feature.
