  • Patent number: 11461005
Abstract: A control unit includes a posture detecting unit that detects inclination of an electronic device to a horizontal plane perpendicular to a gravitational direction by using output of a sensor mounted on the electronic device, and a position selecting unit that selects a position to display a touch operation area, which is an area for receiving a touch operation to the touch screen. The position selecting unit selects the position to display the touch operation area from a right position and a left position away from each other in a lateral direction of the touch screen based on the inclination (angle) of a lateral axis to the horizontal plane. According to this structure, when operating the electronic device having the touch screen with one hand, a user can display the touch operation area at an appropriate position by an intuitive operation.

  • Patent number: 11448294
Abstract: A linkage mechanism includes a pivoting assembly, a cam, a sliding assembly and at least one linkage. The cam pivots coaxially with the rotating axis of the pivoting assembly. A leaning element is located on one side of the cam. A sliding frame pivots the leaning element and has at least one limiting area. The linkage includes a main body portion, a first linkage portion protruded beyond the limiting area and a second linkage portion. When the pivoting assembly drives the cam to pivot from a first position to a second position, the cam pushes against the leaning element to slide the sliding frame in a first direction relative to a plate, and the limiting area interferes with the first linkage portion of the linkage to rotate the main body portion in a first clock direction to allow the second linkage portion to provide a thrust in a second direction.

  • Patent number: 11443676
Abstract: The disclosed system modifies luminance of a display associated with a selective screen. The display provides a camera with an image having resolution higher than the resolution of the display by presenting multiple images while the selective screen enables light from different portions of the multiple images to reach the camera. The resulting luminance of the recorded image is lower than a combination of luminance values of the multiple images. The processor obtains a criterion indicating a property of the input image where image detail is unnecessary. The processor detects a region of the input image satisfying the criterion, and determines a region of the selective screen corresponding to the region of the input image. The processor increases the luminance of the display by disabling the region of the selective screen corresponding to the region of the input image.
