Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for helping a customer select seats when purchasing tickets, such as from an online ticket seller. A venue map can be provided to help the customer select the seat. The venue map can show the different seating areas and their relationship to an attraction area, such as a stage, game court or field. The venue map can also show features of the venue. For example, the venue map can show wheel chair accesses, restaurants, drink stands, playgrounds, stores, parking lots, restrooms, and the like. Ticket prices for each seating area can be provided, either on the map or elsewhere. Thus, a customer can use the map to determine which seats the customer desires for a particular event.

Abstract: This disclosure describes systems and methods related to providing direct purchase of merchandise from an electronic communication and subsequent delivery of the purchased merchandise. A direct merchandise purchase system may generate an electronic communication associated with an offer for merchandise for a user. The user may be able to directly purchase merchandise from the electronic communication which may then be delivered accordingly.

Abstract: There are provided a system, a method and a computer program product for creating the social group whose participants are involved in an online conversation. The system aggregates data associated with the online conversation and a group profile, of the social group. The system determines, based on the online conversation data and the group profile, a context of the online conversation and a goal of the social group. The system receives, based on the determined context and the goal, a first bidding from each provider, the first bidding associated with the determined context and the goal, the each provider providing one or more of: goods, services or discounts associated with the context and the goal.

Abstract: A system and method is disclosed having at least one sensor operable to detect a presence of a consumer in a retail environment and at least one database storing personal information of the consumer and a plurality of sales representatives employed by the retail environment. The personal information includes at least one of a personality profile based on data from at least one social network system and text communications, photographic data, and video data on the social network system. A computing device is also provided that includes at least one processor and at least one network connection. The processor is operable to compare the personal information of the consumer with the personal information of each of the plurality of sales representatives and select one of the plurality of sales representatives to service the consumer based on the comparison.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems and methods for allowing a single representation of a trigger for payment across different environments using machine readable codes. A machine readable code may be encoded with a URL and information about a product to which the machine readable code is attached. A first electronic device may be able to scan and decode the machine readable code into first recognizable product information using a complaint application. The compliant application may populate a first form on the first electronic device for a first transaction with the recognizable product information without having to access a server. A non-compliant application on a second electronic device will launch a browser using the URL and provide the unrecognizable product information to the server for decoding. The server will decode the unrecognizable product information into a second recognizable product information that may be used to populate a second form for a second transaction.

Abstract: An integrated finding experience is a workflow configured to facilitate a search by a user for one or more items among many items (e.g., an inventory of items). An integrated finding experience machine may provide one or more user interfaces that support the workflow in presenting information differently as the user progresses through a search process (e.g., a finding experience) with respect to a database (e.g., storing information regarding one or more items). For example, the workflow may include various stages of a search process from defining a query, to refining the query, to visually scanning search results, to displaying details of one or more selected search results, to comparing selected search results to each other. Each stage may have a specialized user interface configured to facilitate one or more user activities pertinent to that stage.
