Abstract: This application provides a computer-implemented method for providing notifications. The method includes creating and storing a geofenced area associated with a mobile device and a location that has a healthcare facility in a data store and outputting a notification to the mobile device when the mobile device is within the geofenced area. The notification may include that the location offers at least one healthcare service that can be received on an unscheduled basis, where in the facility that the at least one healthcare service is offered, whether or not the healthcare service is covered by a patient's insurance, the cost of the healthcare service, the out-of-pocket cost by the patient of the healthcare service, wait time at the facility for the healthcare service, and when the patient should not receive the healthcare service for other medical reasons.

Abstract: One disclosed example method includes a video conference provider establishing a main meeting of a video conference and multiple associated sub-meetings at the request of a host client device associated with a host of the meeting. The method further includes the video conference provider determining that a self-selection mode for the sub-meetings is enabled and transmitting notifications to participant client devices associated with the participants of the meeting. Each notification identifies a list of sub-meetings from which a participant can select a sub-meeting to join. The method further includes the video conference provider receiving and forwarding a request from a participant client device to connect to a selected sub-meeting, and receiving an automatic approval from the host client device. The video conference provider further connects the participant client device to the selected sub-meeting.

Abstract: An apparatus for training artificial intelligence (AI) models is presented. In embodiments, the apparatus may include an input interface to receive in real time model training data from one or more sources to train one or more artificial neural networks (ANNs) associated with the one or more sources, each of the one or more sources associated with at least one of the ANNs; a load distributor coupled to the input interface to distribute in real time the model training data for the one or more ANNs to one or more AI appliances; and a resource manager coupled to the load distributor to dynamically assign one or more computing resources on ones of the AI appliances to each of the ANNs in view of amounts of the training data received in real time from the one or more sources for their associated ANNs.

Abstract: Systems and methods herein provide for improved handling of oversized email attachments. An example system can identify an oversized email attachment before an email is sent, by comparing the size of the attachment to a maximum file size at an email server. The user can then be notified that the attachment is over the allowable file size before sending the email. The system can also un-attach the oversized file, compress it using a suitable compression method, and reattach a compressed file. The compression can be done at the sender's request or automatically.

Abstract: A method of generating respective adaptions of digital content for display by multiple computing devices is recited. In one embodiment, a first computing device sends an invitation to congregate to one or more second computing devices. If the first computing device determines that the one or more second computing devices are in physical proximity to the first computing device, the first computing device may invoke play of the digital content. A plurality of generated content adaptions may be generated, wherein a first content adaption is configured for synchronous display by the first computing device with one or more second content adaptions displayed on the one or more second computing devices, respectively.

Abstract: The technology disclosed relates to causing delivery of Segmentation as a Service™ (SegAAS) instrumentation code and segment processing code to run on a user's machine and generate data that tracks a user session on a website, receiving and processing data from the user session and invoking callback function code, configured to run on the user's machine, that performs actions specified by the website's operator, as triggered by delivery of segment codes. Also included is receiving readings from the user session, analyzing the data to track progress of the session, and generating segment codes that characterize results of the analysis in an actionable way specified by rules provided by the website operator. Further included are repeatedly causing delivery of updated lists of the segment codes based on the analyzing of the progress and timing delivery of unsolicited actions directed to retaining the visitor and extending the user session with the website.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for implementing reciprocal data sharing in a data exchange system. Limitations may be placed on the amount of data an exchange member may access based on the amount of data that exchange member has contributed. The system may include determining a data contribution associated with a first member of the data exchange, determining a data access limit for the first member based on the data contribution, and providing data to the first member when the first member has not exceeded the data access limit. In some embodiments, there may be separate data access limits for each member of the data exchange, so that a first member may have different access limits when accessing data from a second member, data from a third member, and data from a fourth member. Further, the system may limit a requester to a type of data that corresponds to the type of data contributed.

Abstract: Systems and methods for an interactive communications system capable of generating a response to conversational input are provided. The interactive communications system analyzes the conversational input to determine relevant topics of discussion. The interactive communications system further determines which of the relevant topics of discussion can potentially lead to an unwanted end to a conversation. The interactive communications system redirects the conversation by providing responses to the conversational input that are intended simply to avoid the unwanted end to the conversation.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to deployment of additional workload in the NFV-MANO to efficiently utilize resources during a lean workload period of Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) associated with an intelligent cloud platform. The method comprises measuring, over a time period, a current resource utilization level of one or more rendered VNFs. Thereafter, forecasting future resource utilization for the time period based on predictive analysis criteria and the current resource utilization level of the one or more VNFs. The method further comprises a machine learning based inference for determining whether the forecast future resource utilization for said time period is less than a determined optimal resource utilization threshold value of the one or more VNFs. Thereafter, resources of the one or more VNFs to one or more additional workloads are allocated based on the determination of the future resource utilization.

The systems and methods include operations for: establishing, by a computing device, a communication session between a plurality of users, the communication session being associated with a first feature of a plurality of features of a messaging application; automatically deleting a first set of messages exchanged in the communication session based on a default deletion policy of the first feature; changing the default deletion policy of the first feature to a second deletion policy; and automatically deleting a second set of messages exchanged in the communication session based on the second deletion policy instead of the default deletion policy.

Abstract: A method for managing primary content and secondary content being displayed on a primary device associated with a presenter user during a collaborative session with one or more participant users includes initializing the collaborative session between a presenter user and one or more participant users, where a display of the primary device associated with the presenter user is viewable by the one or more participant users, The method also includes analyzing the user context and the content context with regards to the one or more participant users and various content in the first display of the primary device, where the various content is categorized by primary content and secondary content. Responsive to determining a negative implication is detected for the secondary content in the display of the primary device, performing a corrective action that prevents the one or more participant users from viewing the secondary content.

Abstract: A personal assistant operation is provided for teaching a personal assistant device names preferred by the user for sensor activated devices. For this purpose, a method includes the personal assistant device receiving a request from a user to activate a requested device which the user has identified with a requested name which is unrecognized by the personal assistant device, determining a most likely candidate device from a list of candidate devices to activate in response to the request, activating the determined most likely candidate device, and identifying and saving the requested name as the name of the most likely candidate device in response to receiving confirmation from the user that the determined most likely candidate device is the requested device.

Abstract: A method for processing a user request by an electronic device is provided. The method includes receiving the user request including natural language, analyzing the user request to detect a user intent and time information, determining one or more applications matching the user intent associated with the user request, determining a post event time period which is a time period before a time point extracted from the time information, and launching at least one among the one or more applications at the post event time period.

After image data is transmitted according to the second communication mode and the second communication mode is terminated, the communication apparatus continues transmitting the image data according to the first communication mode in the case that it is determined to continue the image data transmission, and terminates the image data transmission in the case that it is determined not to continue the image data transmission.

Abstract: Examples described herein include systems and methods for performing email synchronization in situations where mobile-device connectivity is lacking. The mobile device can send an SMS message to an email notification server requesting email synchronization and the email notification server can request synchronization with the email server associated with the user's email account. After receiving an email from the email server, the email notification server can encrypt the email and break it into various chunks, with each chunk including a header having identifying information. The chunks can be transmitted as SMS messages to the mobile device. The email application can retrieve the SMS messages, decrypt them, and reconstruct the email. The email application can then display the email for the user.

Abstract: Streaming content using a data streaming device having limited power is described. A data streaming device receives streaming content from a network and provides the streaming content for display on a content display device. Data streaming device includes power supplies that receive power from the content display device. The power supplies use the power to operate components of data streaming device that process the streaming content. A measuring module measures the power provided to the data streaming device. When the power is insufficient, a controller generates an indication that there is insufficient power to operate the components of the data streaming device. The controller may also modify functionality of the components to operate using available power or disable a component of the data streaming device.
