Abstract: A gallery pendant is described for displaying art and craft articles including jewels, gems, cabochons, paper, drawings, leather, metal, and images that can be secured within an open face, open top box by a detachable face frame and a cord or chain received through ear loops through the sides of the box proximate the open top of the box.
Abstract: A fastening system for mounting detachable covering components, like panels, on other components (17), like carriage parts (19), has at least one spacer (1) with a spacer body (3). One spacer body side can be attached to the covering component. The opposite side has an adhesive closure part (7) detachably engaged with a corresponding adhesive closure part (16) attached to the other component (17). At least on one border of the side of the spacer body (3) connected to the covering component, a flat mesh (21) abuts to enlarge the connection area between the covering component and the spacer (1).
Abstract: A device to replace a broken section of zipper. The present invention includes a track with an inner surface and an outer surface. A plurality of teeth are disposed along the inner surface of the track. A groove extends across the outer surface of the track and creates an inner volume in the track. The inner volume is configured to receive the teeth of the broken zipper section therein. Flanges that extend from an upper portion and a lower portion of the track into the groove help to secure the track in place. Further, a stop at an end of the track is used to attach the zipper replacement device to the material containing the broken zipper.
Abstract: There is provided a slide fastener. A pair of core sections are respectively provided along opposing tape side edge portions of a pair of fastener tapes. A pair of fastener element rows are respectively attached to the pair of core sections. Each of the pair of fastener element rows includes a plurality of fastener elements made of metal. Silica is applied to surfaces of the core sections and the fastener elements.
Abstract: A seat belt safety device prevents access to a release button located on a surface of a seat belt housing attached to a first seat belt segment, the housing surface also including a housing opening through which a seat belt tongue attached to a second seat belt segment is inserted to securely latch the first seat belt segment to the seat belt housing and the second seat belt segment. The seat belt safety device includes a blocking assembly formed as a cylindrical standoff with an inner channel within which a rod with a release handle at one end and a blocking member at its other end is arranged for axial movement when the blocking assembly is not in a locked state and a spring. The release handle is grasped to extend the rod against a force of the spring to press the release button of the seat belt housing.
Abstract: A nasal tube fastener for securing a nasal tube to a person's clothing so as to reduce the opportunity for the tube to be entangled with other objects or to get in the way of the wearer of the tube, such fastener comprising a pair of engageable magnetic fasteners of opposite polarity to each other, the magnetic portions preferably connected to each end of a strap engagement portion connected to each magnetic fastener and extending transverse thereto.
Abstract: A decorative cover for interchangeable attachment to buttons to change the appearance of the button. The decorative cover includes a base member with a hollow bore extending through at least one end thereof, and a decorative part permanently attached to an opposite end. An inner surface of the bore frictionally engages an outer edge of the button to retain the base member in place but permit it to be removed when desired. In one embodiment the base member is an elastomeric material having a durometer to enable the button to press into an inner surface of the bore. A detent may be provided in the bore to engage the button to assist in holding the decorative cover in place. In another embodiment the base member is longitudinally split into two semi-cylindrical segments that spread apart to enable a button to be engaged between them.
Abstract: A coupler having a semi-rigid support member and two extrusions. The extrusions can be secured against opposing sides of a container. Each of the extrusions is fitted through a void on each of the opposing sides. The coupling can provide structural support when the extrusions are securely fitted into the void. Each of the extrusions can include an insertable end, a non-insertable end, a trunk, and a set of tertiary pawls extending from the trunk and the primary pawl. The tertiary pawls can be positioned between the insertable and non-insertable ends along a longitudinal axis of the coupler. The insertable end can be able to fit through a void from the frontside to the backside. The trunk can terminate at the insertable end in the primary pawl. The base pawl can be able to be secure the coupler against the frontside surface of the void.
Abstract: A sparkling, oblong-shaped precious stone, such as an emerald or cushion cut diamond is formed by providing these diamonds with two long crown surfaces extending at a crown angle and two long pavilion surfaces extending at a pavilion angle, where the crown angle is in the range of 30-36 and the pavilion angle is in the range of 30-34. The crown angle and the pavilion angle are so formed that the crown angle is either equal to or larger than the pavilion angle by an angle that does not exceed 6 degrees.
Abstract: A pierced earring may also be used to decorate an end cap of a bangle or bracelet in which the end cap has an aperture through which the post of the earring is slid with the end cap holding the pierced earring decorative head in place thereby providing an additional environment in which the pierced earring may serve a decorative purpose.

Abstract: Disclosed is a closure system used in combination in any of a variety of applications including clothing, for example as a footwear lacing system comprising a lace attached to a tightening mechanism. The lace extends through a series of guide members positioned along two opposing footwear closure portions. The lace and guides preferably have low friction surfaces to facilitate sliding of the lace along the guide members so that the lace evenly distributes tension across the footwear member. The tightening mechanism allows incremental adjustment of the tension of the lace. The closure system allows a user to quickly loosen the lace and inhibits unintentional and/or accidental loosing of the lace.
