Abstract: An adaptable child carrier system includes a harness having a pair of shoulder straps extendable over the wearer's shoulders and a lower panel extendable over a portion of the wearer's back. A primary support is selectively attachable to the harness. A pair of connecting straps extend between the primary support and the shoulder straps. The child carrier system is selectively transitionable between a first and second wearing modes without re-orientation, removal, reversal or modification of the harness part. In the first wearing mode, the primary support is attached to the pair of shoulder straps such that the lower panel and the primary support are separated from each other so as to reside on opposed sides of the wearer's torso when worn by the wearer. In the second wearing mode, the primary support is attached to the lower panel to define a cavity to receive the child for carrying the child adjacent the wearer's back.

Abstract: A carry harness includes: two carry straps, two chest straps connected respectively to the carry straps, a chest fastener configured for joining together the chest straps, the fastener extending along an attachment plane, and at least one tool-carrying strap. The chest straps and the tool-carrying strap are connected to the chest fastener with freedom to pivot in the plane of attachment about at least one axis of pivoting passing through the chest fastener and perpendicular to the attachment plane. The chest fastener has a first part and a second part, which parts are non-pivoting and removable one from the other, the first part and the second part being connected respectively to the chest straps. Application to the carrying of tools and batteries of accumulator cells.

Abstract: A portable electronic device holder, separate from an aircraft tray table, has a spring biased lower retention portion with lower retention plates for securing a lower edge of a portable electronic device. The lower retention plate acts in concert with either one or more ridges molded into or affixed to a recess in a seat back panel, or with a spring biased, extendable upper retention portion with an upper retention plate to hold the portable electronic device in place.

Abstract: A carrying system releasably engages with the rollover frame of a tractor. The system includes a header sleeve connected to the rollover frame's crossbar, at least two lateral sleeves, and at least one of those lateral sleeves engaged with each of the rollover frame's two vertical supports. The header sleeve acts as an anchor and includes straps which releasably engage the lateral sleeves. The lateral sleeves include at least one attachment site, such as a D-ring, which facilitate the releasable connection of items such as tools in a myriad of configurations. Alternative embodiments include a suspended pouch for holding smaller items; more than one lateral sleeve per side in a “daisy chain” configuration; and an anchor strap so the carrying system can be used on rollover frames that are hinged and in the folded position.

Abstract: A yoga bag is disclosed. An example embodiment includes a yoga bag comprising: a fabric-covered rigid housing having a top panel and a bottom panel connected by two front panels and two rear panels, the combination of the top and bottom panels with the front and rear panels forming a generally rectangular housing with a hollow interior region; a yoga mat holder attached to the top panel, the yoga mat holder including at least one C-shaped element to conform to a round shape of a rolled-up yoga mat; an accessory receptacle configured as a pocket, a loop, a hole, or an attachment mechanism to retain any of a variety of yoga accessories; and a towel storage area configured as an open area or void in the hollow interior region and positioned in the middle of the housing between the two front panels and the two rear panels.

Abstract: A head-mounted resilient auxiliary locking mechanism and a head-mounted display, wherein the mechanism comprises a connecting band (3), a rear housing (1) provided at a rear of the connecting band (3), a locking module (4) provided in the rear housing (1), racks (2) provided at the two ends of the connecting band (3) and inserted into the rear housing (1) to engage with the locking module (4), and a resilient band (7) connected between the connecting band (3) and the rear housing (1); when the locking module (4) locks the racks (2), the resilient band (7) prevents the engaging between the racks (2) and the locking module (4) from loosing; and when the locking module (4) releases the racks (2), the resilient band (7) drives the racks (2) to return. The head-mounted display comprises a display (8) and the head-mounted resilient auxiliary locking mechanism.

Abstract: The present invention relates in general to portable first aid kits and, in particular to a low profile first aid kit that is adaptable for a quick release and can be easily stored and carried by a person. The innovative design of the pouch pillow release system allows for the kit to be released with one hand and mounted either vertically or horizontally to any carrier, plate or vest surface, especially the back. Placement on the back allows the user to take advantage of unused space and prioritize individual equipment layout. Additionally, a shoulder strap allows the first aid kit to be easily carried until it is remounted to the carrier or vest surface.

Abstract: An embodiment personal item management apparatus includes a wearable band having a fixed circumference that defines a first outer diameter; and a clasp coupled to the wearable band, the clasp having a second outer diameter that is less than the first outer diameter and being adapted to couple a personal item to the wearable band. In an exemplary embodiment, the ratio of the second outer diameter to the first outer diameter is about 0.4.

Abstract: A backpack lap pillow apparatus for providing a comfortable sleep solution while traveling includes a backpack body having a pair of shoulder straps. The pair of shoulder straps has a carry position and an alternate rest position inverting the pair of shoulder straps such that they extend around a top side and a front side of the backpack body. A U-shaped pillow is coupled to an inner side of each of the pair of shoulder straps proximal the top side. The pillow is positioned such that it wraps around the user's neck when the pair of shoulder straps is worn in the carry position and rests above the top side of the backpack body when the pair of shoulder straps is in the rest position, allowing the user to rest her head on the pillow with the backpack body in her lap.

Abstract: The document holder described herein is portable and comprises tangible document compartments for reversible insertion of tangible documents. Each tangible document compartment preferably attaches to an integral uppermost holder layer while it horizontally and laterally aligns with each remaining adjacent tangible document compartment. The document holder is flexible and comprises magnetic components and attaching components that reversibly attach to a curved surface or a flat surface. When initially attached to an interior curved or flat vehicle surface, the document holder is rapidly manually removed and reattached to the exterior curved or flat surface of the same vehicle. A third person exterior to the vehicle may then read or access the tangible documents without a driver or passenger manually retrieving the documents from the vehicle's interior.

Abstract: A rooftop cargo carrier having a rack that can be mounted on the roof of an automotive vehicle and on which a linear rail is disposed, along which linear rail a support structure for an object to be transported can be moved between a transport position, in which the support structure is disposed above the linear rail, and an intermediate position, in which the support structure is disposed on the side as an extension of the linear rail. The configuration comprising the linear rail and the support structure can be pivoted between the intermediate position and a loading position, in which the linear rail and the support structure are disposed at a blunt angle relative to the rack. The rooftop cargo carrier also includes a retainer that allows joint pivoting movement of the linear rail and the support structure relative to the rack only after the intermediate position has been reached.

Abstract: A baby carrying system includes two discrete carrier pieces: a baby support piece which secures the baby and a harness piece worn by the parent. The baby support piece can be attached to the harness piece using a latching mechanism. Further secured attachment to support positioning of the baby support piece relative to the harness piece is achieved using fastening connection points at the middle and top of an upper support portion of the baby support piece. Straps with buckle connections extend from the harness piece, to enable to the buckle connections to engage with the fastening connection points.

Abstract: A retaining device for securing one or more accessory racks to a base rack on a vehicle is provided herein. The device comprises a housing member that extends through the one or more accessory racks and into the base rack, a head, secured to the housing member that engages one or other of the racks, a detent that engages the other of the racks, and an engagement mechanism that extends the detent and pulls it toward the head. The device may further comprise a lock that secures the detent in a clamping position. The lock may comprise a ratchet and pawl arrangement defined by first and second levered tabs disposed on the head, the first tab being operably connected to the engagement mechanism. An ATV comprising one or more accessory racks secured to a base rack by a retaining device as described herein is also provided.

Abstract: A modular frame for a backpack sprayer system includes a frame plate having a front surface, a back surface and first and second side edges. A first receiving channel is located along the first side edge and a second receiving channel is located along the second side edge. A support member has a first arm which is received within the first receiving channel and a second arm which is received within the second receiving channel. A stand portion extends at an angle relative to the first and second arms. A mounting member is coupled to the front surface of the frame plate and mounts a tank and a pump unit thereon. The mounting member includes opposing left and right sides, a planar top face and a front face including a concave portion to receive at least a portion of one or both of the tank and the pump unit.

The device comprises a body, a base, and first and second opposing retention arm portions that are configured as a receptacle for a beverage. The first and second opposing retention arm portions and base include recesses that define a receptacle for an electronic device.
