  • Patent number: 10438371
Abstract: A three-dimensional bounding box is determined from a two-dimensional image and a point cloud. A feature vector associated with the image and a feature vector associated with the point cloud may be passed through a neural network to determine parameters of the three-dimensional bounding box. Feature vectors associated with each of the points in the point cloud may also be determined and considered to produce estimates of the three-dimensional bounding box on a per-point basis.

  • Patent number: 10432562
Abstract: A photo spam detector detects illegitimate non-natively captured images through extracting image features and feeding the extracted features into a probabilistic model. The probabilistic model categorizes the photo as legitimate or illegitimate. Requests to tag one or more users in a photo are analyzed by a tag analyzer that assesses relationships between the tag requests themselves, social relationships between the tagged users, and the presence or absence of faces within the regions specified by the tag requests. Based on the classification of images or tags as illegitimate, a social networking system applies one or more social media distribution policies to the image or tags to suppress or prohibit distribution.

  • Patent number: 10423821
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for automated profile image generation based on scheduled video conferences. A profile image generation system generates, based on image data captured during a first video conference, a first facial feature data set for a first identified face identified from the image data. The first facial feature data set includes numeric values representing the first identified face. The profile image generation system calculates, based on the first facial feature data set and historic facial feature data sets generated from image data captured during previous video conferences, a first value indicating a likelihood that the first identified face is a first meeting participant that participated in the first video conference. The profile image generation system determines that the first value meets or exceeds a threshold value, and in response, determines that the first identified face is the first meeting participant.

  • Patent number: 10410344
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating a medical image of a subject that includes functional information. First, two medical images are acquired. One is weighted based on functional information reflecting physiological functions of the subject and the other weighted based on anatomic information of the subject. A difference image between the two images are generated. By subjecting the difference image and the second image to a localized kernel, a local similarity image is generated. Using the local similarity image, an improved difference image is generated. Lastly, by subtracting the improved difference image from the first image, an enhanced medical image that retains the functional information reflecting physiological functions of the subject is generated.
