  • Patent number: 11343192
Abstract: A packet processing method, where a server allocates an identifier of a network slice to a terminal device based on a service type of the terminal device and sends the identifier of the network slice to a control device. The control device determines parameter information of the network slice based on the identifier and determines a forwarding path based on the parameter information. Then, the control device adds a forwarding resource included in the forwarding path to a forwarding resource of the network slice. When the terminal device sends the service packet, the service packet is forwarded using the forwarding resource of the network slice. Hence, the control device dynamically determines the forwarding resource for the network slice based on a service requirement such that a forwarding resource in a network can be fully used, saving forwarding resource and improving network flexibility.

  • Patent number: 11330423
Abstract: Disclosed are methods and devices for multi-Subscriber Identify Module (SIM) wireless communication. In an embodiment, a method includes establishing a window for at least receiving paging in an idle state of a first wireless communication associated with a first SIM. A prediction is made, based on the window, of a collision or non-collision between the paging and a second wireless communication associated with a second SIM. It is then determined, in response to a collision prediction, whether a simultaneous reception of the paging and the second wireless communication is possible through use of different respective carriers, if so, respective radio frequency (RF) paths are allocated to the paging and the second wireless communication, where the allocated RF paths correspond to the different respective carriers.

  • Patent number: 10931573
Abstract: A Layer 2 network switch is partitionable into a plurality of switch fabrics. The single-chassis switch is partitionable into a plurality of logical switches, each associated with one of the virtual fabrics. The logical switches behave as complete and self-contained switches. A logical switch fabric can span multiple single-chassis switch chassis. Logical switches are connected by inter-switch links that can be either dedicated single-chassis links or logical links. An extended inter-switch link can be used to transport traffic for one or more logical inter-switch links. Physical ports of the chassis are assigned to logical switches and are managed by the logical switch. Legacy switches that are not partitionable into logical switches can serve as transit switches between two logical switches.

  • Patent number: 10931520
Abstract: A network node (200) a wireless device (202) and methods therein, for configuring a wireless link (204) to be used for controlling a process at a wireless device (202) involving communication of control signals and feedback signals over the wireless link (204). The network node (200) sends a request message (2:2) to the wireless device (202) comprising a request for performance requirements of the wireless link (204) needed for the communication of control signals and feedback signals. The wireless device (202) determines (2:3) the performance requirements based on at least one of: 1) characteristics of the process, and 2) requirements for how the process is controlled. The wireless device (202) then sends (2:4) a response message comprising the performance requirements to the network node (200) which configures (2:5) the wireless link (204) so that the performance requirements of the wireless link are fulfilled.
