  • Patent number: 11681686
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided to fully process an initially incomplete replicated and committed transaction. A transaction pattern table is provided that includes a plurality of records, each record being defined by a transaction pattern identifier. Each record includes a transaction pattern and a metric of occurrence of the transaction pattern. An incomplete transaction is automatically compared to the transaction patterns in the table and a subset of transaction patterns in the table are identified that are potential candidates for matching the incomplete transaction. The incomplete transaction is categorized using the metric of occurrence of the transaction pattern for each transaction pattern in the subset. The categorization predicts when all steps or operations of the transaction which have completed in the source database have been replicated, and the incomplete transaction is committed based on this prediction.

  • Patent number: 11675810
Abstract: A method for performing disaster recovery in a clustered environment comprises identifying, at a master device, a first indexer from a set of indexers to serve as a primary indexer for responding to queries pertaining to a subset of data. The method also comprises assigning, at the master device, a generation identifier indicating that the first indexer is the primary indexer for the subset of data. Responsive to an event prompting a change in a primary indexer designation for the subset of data, the method comprises identifying, at the master device, a second indexer from the set of indexers to serve as the primary indexer for responding to queries pertaining to the subset of data. Further, the method comprises assigning, at the master device, a new generation identifier indicating that the second indexer is the primary indexer for the subset of data.

  • Patent number: 11675754
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for reference source matching. Specifically, the systems and methods disclosed enable matching among tokens using a reference source. In one example, a Consolidation Platform may receive tokens from a customer environment and tokens from a reference source environment. The customer tokens may be compared to each other using AB matching. If a match does not occur, the customer tokens may further be compared to the reference source tokens via transitive matching. If a match does occur, then the customer tokens may be denoted as a match. In further example aspects, the reference source may be a universal reference token repository that comprises unique tokens. If, after a match is indicated, the matched token(s) may be compared to the universal reference token repository. If the matched token(s) does not exist, it may be added to the repository for future use.

  • Patent number: 11640395
Abstract: A method and apparatus for carrying out a database select, or query, on a data storage device, upon data stored on that device. Data is received from a host and compressed on the data storage device using a compression code developed on the data storage device for the data. When the host issues a database select request on the compressed data, the compression code is distributed to processing cores of the data storage device and compiled, including the select request, into machine code. The machine code is used to decompress the compressed data while filtering the data with the select request. The filtering result is returned to the host.

  • Patent number: 11630955
Abstract: A framework for enhanced search is provided to enable the user to contextually search documents, based on specified events. A management framework provides systems for obtaining a user's contextual data and the user's interaction data for which a Context Graph and an Interaction Graph are created, respectively. The user's context data include the various events associated with the user. The user's interaction data include times and locations the user interacted with a particular document, which device was used, the type of interaction, etc. The data from the two graphs are correlated and joined into an event graph. Upon receiving a natural language query from a user, one or more contextual query elements are identified, and the event graph is spanned to identify matching results which are then provided to the requesting user device.

  • Patent number: 11620285
Abstract: A database query is received at a primary database in a query language of the primary database. A determination is made whether the database query is to be handled by a secondary database different from the primary database but storing synchronized records of at least a portion of the primary database. In response to determining that the database query is to be handled by the secondary database, the database query is translated to a query language of the secondary database, including by determining a tree data structure representation of the database query, translating one or more elements of the tree data structure representation, and synthesizing the tree data structure representation to automatically generate the database query in the query language of the secondary database. The automatically generated database query is provided in the query language of the secondary database to the secondary database.
