Abstract: A system and method for an index-based smart scan for a cloud-computing provider network is provided. The system includes a memory having computer-readable instructions stored therein and a snapshot repository configured to store a plurality of snapshots of a plurality of block storage volumes. Each of the plurality of block storage volumes is configured to perform volume based block storage operations for the cloud-computing provider network. The system further includes a processor communicatively coupled to the snapshot repository. The processor is configured to access contents of each of the plurality of snapshots. Each of the plurality of snapshots includes a point-in-time capture of the respective block storage volume. In addition, the processor is configured to perform a full scan of each of the plurality of snapshots to identify one or more files of the respective block storage volume. The processor is further configured to generate a folder index table for each of the files based upon the scan.

Abstract: A transaction directed to a hierarchy of data objects stored in a non-transactional data store may be executed. The transaction may be received and description of the transaction stored in a parent data object of the hierarchy. Upon storing the description of the transaction, the transaction may be acknowledged as committed. Access requests for the hierarchy of data objects may be serviced by accessing the description of the transaction and applying to child data objects in the hierarchy returned for servicing a query directed to the hierarchy. A new transaction that is received may initiate application of the transaction according to the description in the parent data object with respect to child data objects.

The query includes a structured data structure path and a first element related to the structured data structure path. One or more patterns are created comprising at least a portion of the structured data structure path and one or more elements related to the first element. For each of the one or more patterns, a hash is created. The created hashes are looked-up in a hash index to identify one or more structured data structures correlated to the hashes. The one or more structured data structures are identified to a user.

Abstract: Example implementations described herein are directed to replication of data between different environments selectively while maintaining the performance of applications. The replication of data may be used to replicate data from a data center running a business critical application to another data center running an analytics application. Abstract: A system and method for operating a high-performance learning-ready platform for real-time analytics involves operating a collector to collect logging data from electronic design automation (EDA) tools. The collector operates either (A) a set of programming interface (i.e., function calls) integrated with an EDA tool, or (B) a selector to extract the logging data from EDA tool logs. The collector generates data logs in a key-value pair data logging format from the logging data. A memory controller loads and indexes the data logs into a controlled memory data structure. A comparator in an archiving engine prioritizes storage of particular data logs based, in part, on previously stored data logs in the controlled memory data structure.

A priority queue in which the data change chunks are identified in order of estimated processing cost is generated.
