  • Patent number: 9541341
Abstract: A projectile launcher using a self-resetting trigger system includes a striker, a sear, and a trigger. The striker, also known as hammer, includes an anchoring notch and is able to slide between a firing position and a ready-for-firing position for launching an object. The sear, which is substantially L-shaped sear, has a first sear end and a second sear end wherein the sear maintains the striker to the ready-for-firing position when the first sear end engages with the anchoring notch of the striker. The trigger, which is capable of self resetting independent from the movement of the striker, contains an elastic lip with a ramp and is able to maintain the sear in a ready position when the elastic lip and the second sear end are coupled in a lock position.

  • Patent number: 9522339
Abstract: A slot car comprises a chassis (110), a motor mounted on the chassis (110) for driving the slot car and a plurality of conductive elements (101, 102) exposed on the chassis (110) which is electrically connected to the motor for driving the slot car. The slot car further comprises a cover (100) covering at least a portion of the conductive elements (101, 102) and which is adapted to restrict the conductive elements (101, 102) from bending and dislocating. The conductive elements (101, 102) may be in form of metal brush (101, 102). The cover (100) is formed with a slanted surface so that the angle between the chassis (110) and the conducting elements (101, 102) does not exceed 7 degree and is further provided with guide members (106, 107). Such guide members (106, 107) restrict the lateral displacements of the conductive elements (101, 102). Moreover, the cover (100) may be integrally formed with the chassis (110), or may be provided with fastening means (103, 104) for attached removably to the chassis (110).

  • Patent number: 9506717
Abstract: The multiple shot spear gun includes a central rotary shaft having a plurality of relatively stationary spear launching tubes or barrels distributed therearound in a cylindrical pattern. The number of spear launching tubes or barrels is not limited, but may comprise any practicable number. Rotation of the central shaft causes a disc to rotate. The disc has a ramp or tang thereon that sequentially engages the trigger of each of the spear launchers as the disc is rotated. A safety disc is rotated with rotation of the central shaft. The safety disc includes a plurality of holes therein. A spring-loaded catch engages one of the holes as the disc rotates with rotation of the central shaft. Thus, the operator of the multiple shot spear gun must release the safety catch after each shot to rotate the central shaft further for the next shot.

  • Patent number: 9494381
Abstract: Apparatus and method for de-cocking a crossbow. The apparatus includes: (a) a body adapted to attach to a crossbow, the body having a channel therethrough and a threaded bore therethrough intersecting with the channel; (b) a notched wedge adapted to slide through the channel; and (c) a threaded stud so that when the wedge is slid through the channel and the threaded stud is threaded into the threaded bore, the stud can contact the wedge and halt further travel of the wedge through said body. When the body is attached to a cocked crossbow with the bowstring of the bow positioned in the notch of the wedge, the trigger of the crossbow can be pulled to release the bowstring against the wedge and the crossbow de-cocked by unscrewing the stud.

  • Patent number: 9474258
Abstract: A bowfishing reel system that can use a standard reel or a normally biased open reel each having a lever that when actuated forces the bail into the open state. A mechanical coupling, such as a string is connected between the lever of the reel and the bow cable or bow string. When the bow is drawn, the mechanical couple causes the lever to be actuated and thus forcing the reel into the open state. As such, when a user goes to shoot an arrow at a target, as soon as the bow is drawn the bail is opened thus preventing back lash and injury.
