  • Patent number: 9689181
Abstract: A bonnet latch bracket arrangement that is adaptable to different vehicle models comprises a bonnet latch, a bracket member and a vehicle body member. The bonnet latch is attachable to the vehicle body member by means of the bracket member, and the bracket member is adapted to take up dimensional differences between the bonnet latch and the vehicle body member in a longitudinal direction, lateral direction and/or height direction of a vehicle. Furthermore, the adaptability to different vehicle models is achievable by varying the geometry of the bracket member according to the dimensions of the vehicle model. A modular system for configuration of a bonnet latch bracket arrangement to different vehicle models and a method for adapting a bonnet latch bracket arrangement to fit in different vehicle models are also provided.

  • Patent number: 9682642
Abstract: A seat suspension with a compact structure while being capable of coping with input vibrations not only in a vertical direction but in six-axis directions. Three pantograph links between a vehicle body floor side and a seat side are employed. Thus, control in six-axis directions is possible, allowing simplification compared to conventional structures. In addition to an active control mechanism using the pantograph links, the seat suspension has a compressed coil spring and the magnetic spring as a first elastic member and a second elastic member. Specifically, damping is performed with high efficiency by controlling the seat side in a reverse phase to the vehicle body floor side with respect to the input direction of vibrations by the active control mechanism and meanwhile performing damping passively by these elastic members.

  • Patent number: 9657890
Abstract: A holder comprising a connecting portion, an extension portion, and a receptacle; the connecting portion comprising a generally rectangular piece of material generally conforming to the shape of a channel; the connecting portion comprising an upper portion comprising a spring element biased in an expanded position such that connecting portion vertical dimensions may be reduced to fit within the channel, and upon insertion within the channel expanded to fill the space; a lower portion of the connecting portion being angled to permit easier insertion with the channel; the extension portion is pivotally attached to the connecting portion; and the receptacle comprising a base portion may be cooperatively coupled to a lower surface of the extension portion such that the holder may be collapsed when not in use.

  • Patent number: 9651084
Abstract: A suction cup apparatus is disclosed that includes a suction cup and a suction cup cover. The suction cup has an outer sealing edge and can be placed under vacuum. The cover has a solid suction cup cover surface and a suction cup cover wall extending away from this surface. The suction cup cover wall is constructed to circumscribe the outer sealing edge, and the suction cup cover wall and solid suction cup cover surface are constructed to elastically deform under a pulling force. The suction cup cover is further constructed to fit around the sealing edge when subjected to the pulling force and to form an airtight seal between the suction cup and suction cup cover when the pulling force is withdrawn.

  • Patent number: 9603446
Abstract: The present anchor device provides a support for holding a security anchor within a hole, such as a grommet hole, formed through a work surface, such as a table top, a shelf, or other board or sheet. The security anchor has a loop for attaching a lock or receiving a cable lock wrapped about the loop and a cross member to prevent the withdrawal of the security anchor from the grommet hole. The anchor device has a cross member with a dipped portion that supports the loop of the security anchor. The present support device prevents the security anchor from falling down through the hole, while holding the loop of the security anchor just within the hole and within easy grasp of the user.
