    Abstract: A method of constructing a photo collage wherein a plurality of digital images are provided in a low resolution format on sticker sheets that have a unique identifier that cross references the reduced resolution images digital images with a high resolution version that is stored in a data base. A page layout form is provided such that a plurality of pages each having a plurality of layouts on which to position the low resolution image stickers. The sticker sheet pages are loaded with low resolution stickers for creating the pages of the photoalbum by arranging the stickers in a desired manner on a page layout form resulting in one of the page layouts being used for each of the pages. The images on the page layout form is then correlated to the high resolution version of the images stored in the database to retrieve a high resolution version of the photo collage which is then produced using conventional photofinishing techniques.

    Abstract: A ring binder is provided including a linearly-extending first spine, a linearly-extending second spine, a series of spaced first substantially half-rings attached to one of the spines, and a series of spaced second substantially half-rings on the other of the spines, the distal ends of the half-rings on the first spine facing the distal end of the half-rings on the second spine. A hinge connection extends between the spines. A releasable lock includes a lever and a pair of links is pivoted to the lever and to outer edges of the spines. An integral lever tab extends from between the ends of the spines. Push movement inwardly of the lever, by pushing the lever tabs, places the lock into a locking mode holding the first and second half-rings closed in a paper sheets-holding mode. An outward pull movement of the lever tab places the lock into a non-locking mode resulting in opening of the first and second half-rings in a paper sheets removal mode.

    Abstract: A planar form or structure is used to create a laminated card or other planar article. The structure and related method allow the carrier surface of the laminated article to be customized or personalized, before it is laminated, such as by adding to the carrier surface an account number, signature, address, serial number, photograph, microchip, or other planar indicia. The carrier surface is adhered to the transparent lamina across substantially all its surface area to create a strong, tamper resistant bond. The laminated card is created from a multiple-ply structure defined within the boundaries of the larger form. The multiple-ply structure has horizontal dimensions substantially corresponding to the ultimate horizontal dimensions of the laminated card or article being created. The carrier is printable and able to be laminated on both sides, yet if desired, the carrier can be limited to only a single ply, thereby reducing the thickness of the resulting laminated card.

The preferred embodiment also includes a manufacturers product information sheet removably attached to either the support panel or the prescription form, or between both.

The eyelet extends perpendicular of the anchor plate and the binder mechanism seats on the eyelet by an opening (26, 28). The upper end of the eyelet is then deformed about the opening to secure the binder mechanism in place.

    Abstract: A ring binder (10) holding sheets (S) of paper (P) has a dual angle ring metal (100). The ring metal includes a pair of leaves (102, 104) hingedly connected to each other for relative movement between them. Binder rings (114, 116, 118) each include a pair of ring halves with one end of each ring half being attached to a separate one of the leaves. A shield (30) covers the leaves. Release levers (140, 142) at each end of the shield are operable to open and close the binder. The leaves, when the ring binder is closed, form a predetermined angle (A) with respect to each other. Each of the leaves has a segment (122a, 122b, 124a, 124b) by which a second angle (B) is formed between the leaves. This second angle is formed such that the pair of leaves are prevented from movement relative to each other by movement of paper from one side of the binder to the other. However, the plates are readily movable to open the binder by movement of one of the release levers.
