  • Patent number: 12286283
Abstract: A removable closure assembly has a cap making a liquid-tight seal with a tri-clamp assembly to the open end of a filter assembly body. The closure assembly has a filter which fits within the filter body. To aid in separating the closure assembly from the body, the cap has an outwardly extending shaft fixed thereto. The shaft is terminated by a radially protruding stop block. A handle is slidable on the shaft and functions as a slide hammer weight with an end wall facing the cap through which the shaft extends. The handle is movable to strike the shaft stop block and apply a force to the stop block and shaft for separating the cap from the body. The stop block has axial channels allowing a clean out of place system to exchange cleaning fluid with an interior volume of the handle.

  • Patent number: 12208947
Abstract: A child resistant lid features first and second lid components for covering respective fractions of a container opening. One or more latch arrangements releasably latch the components together in a closed state over the container opening, and each feature a latch hole defined in one of the components, and a latch tongue affixed to the other component. The tongue is sized and oriented to reach a position neighbouring the latch hole when said first and second lid components are mated together in the closed state. A catch button disposed on the latch tongue juts from a side thereof at a position that aligns with the latch hole in the closed state of the lid. The tongue is resiliently flexible in a bending direction, and resiliently biased into a default position that biases the catch button into the latch hole when the lid components are mated together.

  • Patent number: 12208948
Abstract: A container assembly includes a container and a lid. The container has a sidewall, a bottom and a flange. The sidewall includes a child-resistant release tab that moves towards the sidewall. The release tab forms an opening therein. The flange includes ramp projections. The lid includes a top portion and opposing retention sidewalls. The retention sidewalls include a stop projection. An interior surface of the polymeric slidable lid includes a sealing liner. The stop projection and the release tab assist in preventing or inhibiting movement of the container assembly from a closed to an open position. After the release tab is moved towards the sidewall, the lid can slide from a closed to an open position. The lid contacts the ramp projections resulting in further movement of the lid into a different axial plane spaced above the flange.

  • Patent number: 12145013
Abstract: A volatile liquid storage container has combustion resistance properties from a flexible sock or tube constructed of fire resistant fibers coupled to a neck of the storage container to prevent flame flash-back into the storage container. The storage container defines an enclosed volume having an orifice in the container material leading to a neck for pouring and filling the enclosed volume for exchanging the contents therein. The tube is elongated and surrounds a circumference of the orifice for engaging any ignition source entering through the orifice. The flexible nature of the tube or sock allows it to extend to an opposed interior surface of the enclosed volume, and ensures that the tube or sock is immersed in the fluid for encircling any ignition path to the volatile liquid without interfering with an ability to pour or refill the container.
