A server stores information including, in association, a user identifier, a first identifier, and a second identifier received from a client terminal, and when receiving an incentive request, causes an application server to provide an incentive to the user pertaining to the first identifier corresponding to the second identifier based on the information.

Abstract: Systems/techniques for facilitating proxy objects for tracking processing of electronic coupon codes are provided. In various embodiments, a system can determine that a browser is performing a checkout on a frontend website. In various aspects, the system can cause the frontend website to instruct the web browser to transmit a validation request to a backend server, wherein the validation request identifies a coupon code and requests that the backend server determine whether the coupon code is applicable to the checkout. In various instances, the system can cause the web browser to append a proxy object to the validation request, wherein the proxy object fetches, during execution of the validation request by the backend server, an execution status of the validation request. In various cases, the system can receive, from the proxy object, the execution status and can initiate one or more electronic actions based on the execution status.

Abstract: According to some embodiments, a method performed by an end user electronic device comprises: triggering a digital content display opportunity; generating an opportunity identifier that uniquely identifies the digital content display opportunity within a digital content display opportunity bidding system; obtaining demographic information associated with a user of the end user electronic device; and transmitting the opportunity identifier and the demographic information to a network node in the digital content display opportunity bidding system.

Abstract: A shopper assistance system may include a mobile device associated with a shopper, and a shopper assistance server. The server may, as the shopper moves along a path of travel within a physical store, cooperate with the mobile device to obtain geographic position data associated with a shopper position within the physical store, and determine a shopper dwell time at a given shopper position within the physical store based upon the geographic position data. The server may also determine a product for purchase adjacent the shopper based upon the given shopper position and cooperate with the mobile device to provide a user interface for providing shopper assistance with the product for purchase based upon the shopper dwell time. The server may also generate and communicate to the mobile device a digital promotion based upon the shopper dwell time.

Abstract: A reward determination system determines distribution of a reward received from a data user to reward distribution targets in a platform for distribution and utilization of biological data provided by data providers. Each reward distribution target has: development task information obtained by quantifying a workload of a task required for developing the platform into numbers; data provision task information obtained by quantifying a workload of a task required for providing the biological data into numbers; and data processing task information obtained by quantifying a workload of a task required for processing the biological data into numbers. A reliability parameter and a contribution parameter of each task are calculated based on the development task information, the data provision task information, and the data processing task information on each task, and a reward to be allocated is determined for each reward distribution target based on the reliability parameter and the contribution parameter.

A code may be manually or wirelessly communicated to a card. The code may be presented on a search results page of a web search. The code may then be communicated to a card reader, such as a magnetic stripe reader. In doing so, a merchant may determine what online search results resulted in an in-store sale.
