Abstract: In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful to test the operation of a point-of-sale (POS) system by executing a testing routine to send signals associated with keystrokes from a POS keyboard to a POS terminal for processing in the POS system. The simulated keystroke signals have expected corresponding operations in the POS system.

Abstract: Techniques for generating recommendations for redistributing product inventories are disclosed. A product redistribution system applies hierarchal prioritization of product locations to generate a plan for redistributing products among the product locations. A system identified product repositories organized into clusters. A product redistribution plan first redistributes products among repositories within a cluster. Then the system redistributes products between different clusters. A system predicts whether repositories have excess products or product shortages by applying product excess windows and product shortage windows to inventory data. The system predicts supply and demand of a product over a period of time including the product supply window and the product shortage window. The system generates the product redistribution plan based on the predicted product excess predictions and product shortage predictions.

Abstract: Examples provides on-hand inventory accuracy using radio frequency identification (RFID) tag data and expected populations of items for a plurality of sub-locations within a scan area. The system calculates a dynamic expected population of items value for each sub-location using item level data and modular display data for an item assortment assigned to a modular display within each sub-location. If the items detected by the RFID tag data match the expected population of items with a minimum confidence level, the system provides user feedback in the form of status indicators and/or accuracy indicators on a user interface. The feedback can also include audio feedback. If a discrepancy is detected, the system requests a rescan of each sub-location having a detected discrepancy. The system disallows update of on-hand inventory data using the RFID tag data if the discrepancy remains unresolved after the second scan and/or requests a manual verification.

Abstract: A method includes determining that a chat text provided in a chat session between first and second chat application instances is directed to a transaction negotiation, the chat session for facilitating communication between the chat application instances. The method includes determining, in an image associated with the transaction, first and second image elements that are associated with the transaction. Responsive to the determination that the chat text is directed to the negotiation of the transaction, the method can generate an invoice for a first transaction portion that is associated with the first element. The method can provide the invoice, via the chat session, to the first and/or chat application instance. Responsive to determining that the first transaction portion is performed, the method can determines to indicate, via the image, that the first element is unavailable for additional transactions.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for providing stowing location recommendation, comprising a memory storing instructions and a processor configured to execute the instructions to receive, from a user device associated with a user, a request for a location recommendation for stowing an inbound product, determine a plurality of locations to recommend within a zone, sample, based on a predetermined rule, a number of locations for stowing the inbound product, and display, via the user device, the sampled number of locations to the user for stowing the inbound product. The processor is also configured to receive, from the user device, a selection of a stowing location among the sampled number of locations and modify a database to assign a location identifier associated with the selected stowing location to the inbound product.

Abstract: Method, systems, and apparatus for generating an online storefront for a merchant, comprising receiving, by an inventory management system (IMS) and from a point of sale (POS) device, an indication of a user input to a first graphical user interface (GUI) representing a merchant request to generate the online storefront comprising one or more second GUIs; generating and activating the online storefront; retrieving inventory data associated with the merchant; transmitting, to a customer device, a second GUI that includes item information; receiving a customer request to purchase an item; transmitting, to a payment service system (PSS) that manages the IMS, the customer request; receiving an indication that the payment has been processed by the PSS; receiving a command from the PSS to update the inventory data; receiving a request from the POS device to deactivate the online storefront; and removing the customer device's access to the online storefront.

Abstract: Features described herein generally relate to locating objects in a scene using optical pattern recognition. Images of a scene that include objects are captured and optical patterns associated with the objects are detected and decoded. Code data for the optical patterns can be matched to search parameters matching input search criteria. The images can be displayed along with a graphic that overlays at least one of the images to indicate that an object matching the search criteria is depicted in the scene.

Abstract: In some examples, a computing device of a service provider receives, via a user interface of a merchant and in association with a transaction between a customer and the merchant, a request to finance the transaction. The service provider determines, based at least on information about the transaction and/or historical transaction data of the customer, that the customer is eligible for receiving financing for the transaction. The service provider customizes an offer for the user for an amount to be financed, a payment plan for repayment of the amount over two or more installments, and a fee to be paid to the service provider. In response to receiving an indication that the customer accepts the offer via an interaction with a user interface of the customer, transferring funds from the financing service provider to the merchant prior to the customer having paid the two or more installments.

Abstract: Various systems, mediums, and methods herein describe mechanisms that enable a user to send a request from her smartphone to multiple retriever devices, such that an item may be retrieved for the user. At least one of the users of the retriever devices may accept the request to retrieve the item for the requesting user. The retrieving device may send an acceptance message to the requester's smartphone to confirm that the item may be retrieved for the requesting user. In such instances, a retrieval fee may be transferred to the retrieving user's account accessible with the retriever device that accepted the request.

Abstract: A system and method are described for a COIN-based payment event data management system. The COIN can provide a consolidated source of accounting for all parties to a transaction by providing for multi-directional translation, resolution, accounting and other functions. A COIN server can interface with buyers and sellers, requestors and debtors, and other parties. The COIN server can communicate with different API's of various parties. Functionality can include means of analyzing payment and transaction behavior.

Abstract: An apparatus acquires balance information indicating the balance of electronic money from a storage apparatus possessed by a user, and determines the total price of products picked up by the user using an image captured by an image capturing unit configured to capture an image in a store. Abstract: A system and method to count and monitor containers at a warehouse dock is disclosed. The system includes a plurality of image capturing devices for capturing one or more images of the plurality of containers for generating a first count, a plurality of RFID readers for reading identification data of an RFID tag affixed to each of the plurality of containers for generating a second count. The system also includes a computing device configured to select the first count or the second count based on a plurality of predefined parameters, cross-check the selected count with a pre-stored count of the plurality of containers at the warehouse dock and provide a final count the containers at the warehouse dock. Manual identification and calculation of container at time of unloading the container at warehouse dock is totally eliminated.

Abstract: Systems and methods for mapping an electronic document to a particular transaction category are disclosed. An example method may be performed by one or more processors of a categorization system and include receiving, from a user via an interface, an electronic document associated with a transaction between the user and a particular establishment, receiving, from the user via the interface, an image of the particular establishment, identifying in the image, using an image recognition engine, at least one of a sign or a symbol representative of the particular establishment, extracting, using an analytics module, location information from at least one of the image or a mobile device, determining, using the analytics module, a name of the particular establishment based on at least one of the location information or the at least one sign or symbol, and mapping the electronic document to a particular transaction category based on the determined name.

Abstract: The present invention is a transportable autonomous robotic merchandise dispensing drive thru wherein merchandise is loaded into said facility and dispensed to a customer through an ordering app downloaded on a mobile device or ordered at a facility site. Said drive thru facility is unmanned and completely computer and robotically operated utilizing no humans within said facility. Said facility is operated via computer processor and requires internet but no utility connections such as water, sewage, electric or gas. The current invention has a three part sanitizing system: interiorly, in each serving compartment and at each exterior touchscreen.

Abstract: Systems and methods for automatically managing and utilizing the uniform labeling of data packages are disclosed. Specification information can describe many aspects of a data package, and can be analyzed to automatically identify various product attributes and service attributes usable to define the data package. Each of the individual product attributes and service attributes can be encoded into an alphanumeric code, which can be concatenated together to form a single uniform package identifier (UPID) usable to describe the associated data product. Systems and methods can automatically generate UPIDs, automatically find data packages based on search UPIDs, automatically process invoices based on UPIDs, and otherwise leverage the UPIDs to automate the collection, creation, selling, purchasing, trading, redistribution, and/or using of data packages.
