Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to virtual reality (VR) based commerce experience enhancement. A set of user data associated with a user can be received. A session of a VR commerce environment can be initiated with the user. A set of products to include in the VR commerce environment can be selected based on the set of user data. A position and orientation of each of the products of the set of products within the VR commerce environment can be determined based on the set of user data. The set of products can be displayed within the VR commerce environment according to the determined position and orientation of each product of the set of products.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving user identifying information in association with a checkout request for an order. The method includes determining that a user account with a transaction processing system associated with the user identifying information does not exist in a database associated with the transaction processing system. The method includes, subsequent to determining that the user account associated with the user identifying information does not exist, receiving payment information for the order from the user. The method includes concurrently receiving an order confirmation and authorization to create a new account with the transaction processing system corresponding to the user identifying information. The method includes facilitating authorization for the order. The method includes storing the received payment information in association with the user identifying information in the database.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable media are provided for determining individual item-level details associated with a transaction. A plurality of purchase transactions associated with different merchants may be displayed via a user interface. Responsive to a user selection of a first transaction, of the plurality of transactions, a camera may capture an image of at least a portion of a user receipt associated with the first transaction. The image of the user receipt may be analyzed using one or more optical character recognition (OCR) algorithms to convert the image of the user receipt into textual data. One or more character strings associated with line item-level details may be extracted from the textual data associated with the first transaction. Additional information associated with the line item details may be determined and the line item details and the additional information may be displayed via a user interface.

Abstract: A system includes a millimeter (MM) wave radar detector, where the MM wave radar detector generates signal data associated with a person of interest (POI) within a field of view of the MM wave radar detector. The system further includes an Access Point (AP) coupled with the MM wave radar detector. The AP includes a computing device to receive and analyze the signal data provided by the MM wave radar detector to determine a movement or action of the POI within the field of view, and facilitate generation of a feedback response in response to the determined movement or action of the POI.

Abstract: This application relates to apparatus and methods for automatically determining item relevancy based on textual information. In some examples, a computing device receives a search query, and a plurality of items corresponding to the search query. The computing device may identify one or more features of the search query. The computing device may generate relevancy values for each of the items based on the features of the search query, and features of each of the plurality of items. For example, the computing device may generate, for each of the items, a plurality of relevance values, each relevance value generated based on a feature of the search query and corresponding features of the item. The computing device may transmit the generated relevancy values for the plurality of items. In some examples, the computing device may rank the plurality of items based on the generated relevancy values.

Abstract: The present technology pertains to a distributed server system for verifying vendors. The distributed server system comprises one or more nodes on a distributed network; a communication interface of a first node that communicates over a communication network with the one or more nodes on the distributed network, wherein the communication interface receives information about a unique seal associated with a product in response to a query; and a processor of the first node that executes instructions stored in memory, wherein execution of the instructions by the processor verifies that a vendor is associated with the unique seal has been appended to a distributed ledger, determines a match between the unique seal and the vendor; and, after determining the match, confirms that the vendor is a certified vendor of the product.

Abstract: A method for processing a chargeback request associated with at least one online transaction associated with a user includes: receiving a chargeback message associated with the at least one online transaction; based at least partially on the unfamiliar merchant name in the chargeback message, determining at least one potential familiar merchant name associated with the at least one unfamiliar merchant name; scanning a browser history of the user including browser data; determining whether the user visited a website associated with the at least one potential familiar merchant name; and generating and communicating a recommendation message including the at least one potential familiar merchant name. The system and method further includes drone assistance means and radio signal item and biological detection so as to improve accuracy. Other features to improve guidance and accuracy include landmark navigation and masking to improve accuracy of item recognition and detection. The system may be a standalone kiosk.

In some embodiments, sensor data corresponding to at least one sensor included in an item worn by a user is received. A user state is determined based on the received sensor data. In response to a state change being satisfied by at least the user state, a recommendation is determined based on the user state and a profile associated with the user. The recommendation may be presented on an electronic mobile device associated with the user.

Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to an automatic ordering method including a network-connected machine-readable code scanner identifying a product, and a network-connected weigh scale identifying a current weight of the product, the method further triggering an automatic order process when the current weight crosses a predetermined threshold. In an illustrative example, the automatic order process may send a signal to a user's network-connected personal device containing a notification that the products current weight has crossed the predetermined threshold. The user may be presented one or more options, for example, regarding product purchase. In some examples, user setup selections may provide input to a function that determines the predetermined weight threshold. Various examples may include a network server. Online merchants providing online ordering of the product may also connect to the network server, for example.

Abstract: Systems and methods for recommending an item from a plurality of items. The plurality of items includes chemistry-based features. The system comprises a computing device and a database. The database includes user preference data, item data, and mapping data. The system receives user input regarding user preferences, and associates user preference values with chemistry-based feature values. The system compares chemistry-based feature values for each item to the user preference values and returns items that best match. In one embodiment, the items are wines and the system uses chemistry-based features of wines such as wine volatile chemical compounds to return wine recommendations.

Abstract: A computerized, interactive eyewear display board system, comprising a plurality of display shelves mounted to a display board's support structure, each of the display shelves comprising at least one light that is adapted to selectively illuminate the respective shelf, the at least one light being controlled a computer processor; and an item tracking mechanism that is adapted to determine which particular eyewear is on each particular respective one of the display shelves. In various embodiments, the display board system is adapted to receive eyewear preference criteria from a user, identify particular eyewear that is placed on a particular one of the display shelves that satisfies the eyewear preference criteria, and in response to determining that the particular eyewear satisfies the eyewear preference criteria, illuminate the particular shelf.
