Abstract: A folding sawhorse created by two pivotally connected frames containing a plurality of stress bearing structures on their inner surfaces forms a 60 degree angle when locked in place by a locking shelf. The frame components include two parallel vertical members separated at a distance by an upper horizontal brace and parallel lower horizontal brace. A U-shaped load bearing support is connected to the upper surface of the upper horizontal braces and provides four surfaces across which a load may be distributed when the folding sawhorse is in use. The trapezoidal locking shelf is pivotally connected to the lower horizontal braces and contains a central hinge, allowing the shelf to fold when the sawhorse is collapsed along its central vertical hinge.
Abstract: An adjustable bracket for a tree stand having a mounting plate and a first bracket member and a second bracket member. The mounting plate has a mounting plate locking ring. A threaded shaft which terminates in a brace is extended through the mounting plate locking ring. The mounting plate is connected to the tree stand by the first bracket member and the second bracket member. When the tree stand is positioned in a tree the threaded shaft is rotated through the mounting plate locking ring until the brace engages the tree. In this way the tree stand is stabilizing and adjusted.
Abstract: An adaptor for attaching a first scaffold having a stack pin to a second scaffold having an opening includes a sleeve having an orifice adapted for receiving the stack pin. An exterior surface of the sleeve includes a tapered section to facilitate insertion of the sleeve into the opening so that the second scaffold can be stacked on top of the first scaffold.
Abstract: A mobile lift unit for accessing bulk carrier top openings for use on a variety of bulk carriers that has a safety cage which is extendable to various heights while protecting operators from potential falls during the use thereof.
Abstract: A retractable horizontal lifeline assembly includes a lifeline windable about and paid out from a rotatable drum and a housing. The housing includes a first connector and is configured and arranged to house the drum and the lifeline wound about a base of the drum. The first connector is operatively connected to a first anchorage structure, the lifeline is pulled outward from proximate the housing thereby paying out at least a portion of the lifeline from the drum, a second connector operatively connected to the lifeline is operatively connected to a second anchorage structure, and the lifeline is tensioned using a crank that rotates the drum to increase the tension in the lifeline and provides indication when the tension in the lifeline reaches a predetermined level.

Abstract: A folding step stool includes a front rail assembly. The step stool includes a rear rail assembly, pivotally connected to the front rail assembly, having a crossbar. The step stool includes a step pivotally attached to the front rail assembly having notches which fit over the crossbar when the stool is in an open position. The step stool includes a linkage assembly pivotally and fixedly attached to the step and pivotally and fixedly attached to the crossbar. The linkage assembly compresses to allow the notches to fit over the crossbar and the linkage assembly exerting a force to maintain the crossbar in the notches when the stool is in the open position. A method for securing a step stool includes the steps of moving the notches of a step against a crossbar of a rear rail assembly pivotally connected to a front rail assembly of the step stool.
