  • Patent number: 10635296
Abstract: In many computing scenarios, a user of a primary device may wish to incorporate an auxiliary device in the presentation of an application. Such incorporation may involve a terminal services session that projects the computing environment of the primary device onto the auxiliary device; mirroring the computing environment of the primary device through the auxiliary device; and/or utilizing applications that interoperate with client applications executing on the second device. However, such techniques may not fully reflect the properties of each device, and/or may only apply to particular applications and/or configurations.

  • Patent number: 10452735
Abstract: An information system using active context technology allows a user to view and interact with a large amount of data disposed within multiple objects with relative ease, minimal time, and minimal interaction. An active context object allows an active context window to display labels, identifiers, and links for objects that are actively (e.g. presently) contextually associated with each other. Contextual association of objects can be determined by a user, inferred by the nature of each object, or automatically determined by an information system. In another embodiment, an active context window is persistently displayed to a user to allow the user to easily obtain information about contextually associated objects and easily allow the user to navigate among contextually associated objects. In one embodiment, the active context object can be transmitted to other users to allow each user to access contextually related objects and, thus, contextually related information.

  • Patent number: 10401975
Abstract: According to some embodiments of the invention, improved systems and methods for medical imaging report input are provided. A zero footprint software extension is provided that interfaces with supported hardware devices, such as dictation devices. The extension may be agnostic to different medical facilities and different medical imaging systems. Radiologists may quickly populate medical imaging reports with existing structured data included in the EMRs or other forms, such as medical orders. Radiologists may also use voice recognition technology in conjunction with the dictation devices to fill in diagnoses and other relevant information in the medical imaging reports. The functionality of the dictation devices may be configured by the radiologists to meet their preferences and needs, either generally or with respect to a specific medical imaging report.

  • Patent number: 10313427
Abstract: Technologies are presented that optimize application management on a computing device through contextual application archival and retrieval. A method of managing applications may include: learning contextual relevancy of one or more applications installed on a computing device to a user of the device and determining whether an application is no longer contextually relevant to the user. If the application is no longer contextually relevant, the device may send a request to an application management service to obtain and/or maintain the application; create a placeholder for the application at the device; and remove the application from the device. The device may monitor contextual inputs for relevancy of the archived application. If contextual relevancy is determined, the device may send a request to the service to provide the archived application or a replacement of the archived application to the device; receive the requested application; install the requested application; and remove the placeholder.

  • Patent number: 10282705
Abstract: In some implementations, a graphical user interface of an electronic messaging system can highlight addressees of a message in a group of candidate message recipients. For example, the graphical user interface can present graphical objects corresponding to candidate message recipients. When a user composes a message, the user can provide input identifying a recipient of the message. In response to the user input identifying the recipient of the message, the graphical user interface can highlight a graphical object corresponding to the identified recipient. In some implementations, the graphical user interface can subdue (e.g., grey out) graphical objects corresponding to candidate message recipients that are not identified in the message in order to highlight the identified recipient objects. In some implementations, a message recipient can be an individual contact (e.g., person). In some implementations, a message recipient can be a message stream.
