Abstract: An electrode for a non-aqueous electrolyte rechargeable battery includes a current collector, an electrode mixed material layer, and a conductive base layer between the current collector and the electrode mixed material layer, wherein the base layer includes at least a styrene-acrylic acid ester-based copolymer, a carbon material, and polyacrylic acid, in the base layer, a content of the styrene-acrylic acid ester-based copolymer is greater than or equal to about 45 wt % and less than or equal to about 77.5 wt %, in the polyacrylic acid, a carboxy group is not neutralized or a ratio of a neutralized carboxy group neutralized by alkali metal ions among the carboxy groups is less than or equal to about 25%, and a loading amount of the electrode mixed material layer per one surface of the current collector is greater than or equal to about 15 mg/cm2 and less than or equal to about 70 mg/cm2.
